Very nice! only thing i will say is no need to add cichlid salt, i used to do it myself and learned that these fish are captive bred and will do just fine without any salt. Other thing if you tap water is below 7 ph then i would add the buffer or else no need just add crushed coral to the sand or to the filter. Stable ph is more important.

my PH is well below 7 thats why I need aragonite and the buffers. And Im sure African cichlids can survive in the mud if they had to but captive bred or not cichlid salt provides minerals they thrive in, and I dont want my fish to just survive.

Ye thats dope. So I use the rustoleum spray paint with primer. What I do is spray the black primer then after that dries I spray on the gloss finish. Hardens like concrete. Only thing is, you need a ventilated area and isolated area because the primer spray is like a sand dust so the aerosol spreads. Where you are located you can do it outside. But in my area we in snow ville so i do it in a bathroom in my basement. The best hardest and smoothest finish perfect for glass.

Beautiful tank...your video reminded me of when I setup my 240g...you need to go all out with a sump now! Once you go sump, you never go back to canisters. Hardest part is drilling the holes for the overflow but even that is easy once you actually start drilling.

Had a 90 gallon with texas holey rock and it was populated with blue acai and yellow labs. tanks is still there with a 15" pleco that survived the Sandy hurricane and my reason for loosing fish. Wow! You went from a 46 gallon to a 75G to a 210G in less than 10 months. That was fast . It took me 5 years to go from a 46 bow front to a 75G. I’ll be setting up my first Mbuna tank in my old 46G soon. Eventually I’ll move them to my 75.

So happy for you. To avoid the sand being sucked in, bring up the intake strainer off the tank floor. In the future a rubber mat under the tank stand really helps protect the floor. The mat could be 1 to 2in longer and deeper than the stand for the enviable water drips. I've converted to sponges in different densities instead of polyfil. Just rinse and reuse. Helps with the bio. Congrats. P S...I keep the 407 on the side of the tank to easily maintenance it. Those stands are tight after the FX6s are in it...lol.
