I inherited a fully paid-off home with a pool near west Palm beach 10 minutes from the beach and was given some shocking advice from my father. It costs $60K/$5K per month to maintain this home between property taxes, pool cleaning, maintenance, landscaping and HOA dues. All are required under our HOA agreement so I can’t save money doing any of it myself. It’s worth just over 1.2 million so I’m better off selling it and using the money plus my pension and social security to live in the Philippines full time! I can build a home for myself and a pretty local woman with a kind heart and spend the rest of our lives having fun.

Guys get off the plan and bring their scarcity mentality with them which leads them down the oneitis pathway with the first good looking chickie that shows them attention. I saw this so many times in Vietnam leading to in many instances a train wreck of a relationship 12mths down the track.. .be warned guys there are an endless amount of ladies so take your time!
