I left home at 17 with a ruck sack, a rifle, and a uniform. Spent 4 years in the military, did 2 full tours, saved ALL of my money from the 4 years. All I wanted was to fish for a living. My family wanted me to work at the local refinery while they were still hiring, guaranteeing 100k a year, my whole family worked there. Moved back to my hometown, bought a boat instead, started doing fishing charters. Put every penny into that 29’ Center Console fishing boat and all of the gear and electronics required. After two years I bought a Tuna license, allowing me to do big dollar tuna charters. Today, 22 years later, I own 9 charter boats with operations all around the Maritimes. My charters are booked a year in advance, and I’m looking at adding 10th boat in june. The refinery? It shut down 4 or 5 years ago. Some of my family now work for me (though not on the same boats, we’d kill each-other), and I make far, far more than I ever could have at the refinery. I have a business my son loves and wants to run someday, and I married an accountant who has managed our personal finances incredibly well. I also fish tournaments, but it’s just the MLF Canada and my provincial trail. But that’s because I’ve been successful enough to take the time off and travel around with my boat while managing the business from afar. Im only required for our short Tuna season, as the license is to me, not the charter boat

I really appreciate DC praising the lord when he catches a fish. I’m a fly fisherman and when you fish lakes or ponds there’s always others nearby. I hear giggles when I praise the lord when I catch a good trout. When I catch a wild animal on a fly I’ve tied with my two hands I always feel like I need to praise god. Thanks !!!
@Esuras989 ай бұрын
Are you serious? Have you listened to how many times he takes the Lords name in vain when he is fishing? He may "claim" to be a Christian, but he probably couldn't take a Bible and show you how to become one.
@wvlongshooter39129 ай бұрын
@@Esuras98 you must be jealous of of DC. We are human. Not perfect. I haven’t seen what you are saying about him. But, just because one is a Cristian doesn’t mean you are perfect or mean that one doesn’t slip up and say something one shouldn’t say as a Christian. Jesus died on the cross because he knows we aren’t perfect and even the best Christian in the world isn’t perfect and even what you might consider to be a true Christian will slip up and say or do things that aren’t Christian in theory. This is why we can ask Jesus for forgiveness and he will forgive. This is a presious free gift that god has given you and me and everyone. I’m guessing you hate forward facing sonar too, right ?

We are always sinful!! Every single one of us one way or another. But Jesus paid the ultimate price for us.

As hosts, you interrupt too much and don't allow the guest to finish talking. You need to talk less and listen more.

Similar story, Justin Hamner just won Bassmaster Classic in March, couple years back he had to dig for change in his truck seats to get home and cutting grass between events
@curtischavez38 ай бұрын
DC is a back to back champion in a much harder field Justin is a bass master classic champion in the 2nd best field of fishing. Not only is Dustin a back to back champion he is a multi stage winner for back to back years. Those two are not similar. Dustin is moving into elite territory with the best to ever do it. Jacob wheeler is not as comfortable as he was last year before Dustin won redcrest.

They need "lawyers and attorneys" when they have no assets? Ok girl. Jasmyn looks sickly. If she says overwhelmed one more time I'm gonna jump through the screen. This girl just cannot deal with everyday life. Why does she feel like its a good thing to showcase her inadequacies on the world wide web. Bring back shame.

MLF is lame with FFS, it’s not a “sport” anymore.😂. It’s still fun, but a sport, not at all. It’s nothing to respect, I think we’ll look back on it in the future as a dark period.
