from Cindi Thank you for showing views off the side of the road. When I lived in Puerto Rico, I loved going up to hills south of Rio Piedras but never saw all the towns at the highest points. Also the roads were not good in 1962.

Yes, Barranquitas has Banana and Platano trees everywhere. It's like Naranjito a bit, Orange soil mostly clay. As for the traffic, lol, wasn't luck. I'm familiar with the traffic patterns. The worst time to go up is Sunday afternoon. 🙂

Um, I came early in the morning to finish my DMV appointment. The town was completely empty. I'm sure it's a lot busier on a Friday evening after they decorate for Christmas. They decorate a lot over there in that square in the center of town.
