This was really great. I’m in my late-ish twenties and have come to the realization I’ve been living as a man child for the past several years and only recently came to the realization I need to begin to grow into the man God wants me to be for my wife and family. However, I never really was taught on how to be a man. This is some good stuff

Seems that transition from boy to man is coming later and later. Great ramble.

This is my one day off this week. Made some biscuits and gravy, heck of a way to start my day! To the young man, try reading “Wild at Heart” by John Eldridge (it is a Christian book). It’s a good book to help that step from being a boy to being a man. At 19,20, 21 it was something that helped me. And I’m sure I will get. Variety of comments about this as some like Eldridge and some don’t.

Hello sir! I appreciate your recommendation. I actually 2 years ago joined my church's discipleship program where we spent 9 months learning the value of discipleship and how to be a modern representation of the church. We studied many areas including spiritual practices, evangelism, and practicing the presence of God. One of the books that we read was wild at heart, and I definitely agree that is was a worthwhile and helpful read! Do you have any other recommendations for a book for a young man to read? (Besides the ones in Mr Larry's bookshelf 😂)

@@clearfocusfilm I’m still you g enough to know that I don’t have the wisdom to pass advice like that off. There are a lot of good books out there by a variety of Christian authors. I only know what has worked for me at the time I needed it.

This is a great video for men of all ages. Sometimes you know stuff but hearing it again is good. I think you did great job keeping the talk focused on a subject that can go all over the place. Keep up the videos! They are great to listen to and reflect upon.

Excellent video. Another great pipesmoking channel is Malcolm Guite. An English pipesmoker who reads various sections from books and poem as well.
