I’m just so impressed with Steve. A talented trainer, teacher and communicator. I most appreciate his timing.

Steve & Tanya, I can't tell you both how much I appreciate your amazing work with these horses. I don't own a horse, probably never will, but your work has helped me immeasurably with my half-feral cats. I have learned SO MUCH from watching Steve work with horses. Animals are far smarter than we give them credit for. My cats have come a very long way in mutual understanding, respect & trust because of Steve. I cannot ever thank you enough, Steve & Tanya.

How and what do you transfer from what Steve does with the horses to your cats?

It's his energy. Calm, patient, on point with timing. It's an energy thing. It's a true gift. I praise God that Mr & Mrs Young share their knowledge with me (everyone). Their precious daughter Char, is not to be discounted. She's a awesome gifted Lady as well. 🙏💜@louisegogel7973

Lovely little session there and so good to see about helping a horse feel more at ease with clear signals and boundaries from the get go.

She is a beautiful mare … great shopping pick Charlotte! She’ll be a real treat as time goes on. Amazing how quickly they settle when you’re controlling the horses’ feet and leading with confidence. I always enjoy and love watching the VLOGs … it’s always good news for the horses/owners/handlers. Happy Trails! 🙏🙌✝️✡️❤️

When I was a kid, I was taught to lead with a droop in the rope, with the horse's head at my shoulder. I never knew just how the horse knew to keep in that position - it just happened - but I knew that if you had to hold your horse tight you clearly didn't know how to lead it properly (or maybe the horse was no good and therefore not a good 'un) . So here I am 80 years on, learning the 'how to', lol. Turns out I didn't know what I knew - Good job, Steve!

I have always admitted the length of rope away from the horses mouth that you hold the rope. True leading. When Charlotte took the lead rope she reached to take the "length of rope" from her father and not the mouth piece. Great example.

STEVE … Can you give us your thoughts on bitless bridles? I’m seeing her in Canada & US a lot of barefoot and bitless bridling… I love both but curious how I’d move from a bit to none (my horse plays with his bit in his mouth and even put his tongue over the bit so I’ve stopped riding as I’m afraid I’ll damage his tongue.
@freddiebiscuit970313 сағат бұрын
You had a green horse that spooked (not unusual) so you pulled and tugged it about a bit and waved your little flaggy stick to "calm it down" 😳 The fact is that Charlotte could have calmed Frankie down with a lot less drama I suspect, You are lucky to have such a supportive daughter who allowed you this "puff piece".

Troubled? Frankie came troubled? I was seriously considering buying a membership but, then realized that you don't ever interact with. us peasants and,frankly, I'm not looking to join the aristocracy. If I'm wrong please leave a link to where a question was answered or comment reaction.

Steve might be many things aside from being one of the best Horseman in the world and he is able and willing to teach us the elementary steps in becoming better leaders to our horses, therefor having a safe, respectful and fun time with our four-legged friends. But to call him a snob for not answering questions or interacting with the audience, is in my humble opinion not fair. Of course, it would be nice to have every question answered but I am sure, his and his family’s days have only 24 hours like ours….I appreciate the great amount of free videos one can watch and learn endlessly without a membership. Having heard here and there in videos that certain visits to troubled owners (not horses 😊) are sometimes free of charge, like for a shelter, then I believe his time is better spent doing that: saving another horse and owner from disaster and paving the way for a better future. I am sure the comments are read as there are videos in response to returning questions from the audiende.
