Cruising the 2 lanes instead of freeways is the way to roll. You see the towns, the people, and regular folks doing life. The shops you see, restaurants and local parks etc. is way worth it. Us old guys can find a tree to pee on alot easier too!! Have fun guys and be safe..

my FAV car of the whole video was the red, 1970 maverick..They were lightweight with a 107 or so inch wheelbase, fastback..awesome..I bought mine in the spring of 1975, on my return from 4 years in England with the USAF !! I drove that car until 2000.

Same problem with our vette....put separate fan switches on, then eventually gifted it to my cousin. We skipped PT to ride motorcycles instead, but I said, "Mark my words, somebody is gonna need water going through Death Valley....I guarantee it". Sorry it was y'all. We might've done PT if we knew y'all high-rollers were going to be out there. Hopefully, next year.

I feel like I met Celebrities! That's my Cadillac Wagon in the first two minutes! It's not a CTS-V Wagon (or Vagon as lots of people call them), but it's really a base model 3.0/Automatic wagon that my Dad, Son, and I swapped the 6.2 Supercharged LSA and 6 speed manual transmission (and lots of other stuff) into. It's a lot of fun, and this power tour was it's shakedown run... We actually finished it Thursday morning, about an hour before we hit the road to Irwindale! It was awesome to see you and Aaron, and actually meet you guys! hopefully we'll get to run into you guys again! We had 3 generations of gearheads on this first PowerTour! hopefully we can do it again!

As a retired Hot Rodder...I can say most of us really appreciate the Burnout PSA you provided in this episode. Aaron is 100% correct about checking those fans and cooling system capabilities BEFORE getting tangled up in any traffic situation. All hot rodders want smoke billowing up from their rides but they want it from the back accompanied by burning rubber...not from the front co-mingled with the stench of antifreeze. You guys ROCK!

I noticed you passed by Terrible's, which is a gas station chain in Nevada. I thought I would enlighten any viewers who might have noticed and wondered why any business would be named Terrible's. It all started decades ago when a small gas/repair station was opened. As you know you can't satisfy all the people all the time and one day a repair customer was not happy with the work done on his car. He proclaimed that the station owner was a terrible businessman. The station owner took that as his montra and has named most of his business ventures Terrible's, which include a string of gas stations and even at least one casino/hotel along the way. I am enjoying your trip and looking forward to more videos of whatever in the future.

I attended my first Power tour this year as a spectator. Been on my bucket list a long time. I caught them coming from Hampton Georgia. I was at Columbia S.C. fair grounds, watching them roll in. Thrill of a lifetime after only seeing them in Hot Rod magazine!

I like daily vlogs from an event…another channel did a daily vlog from a cannonball run and I tuned in everyday and anticipated the videos…much like yours…it is like we are getting a “inside” look at something we aren’t able to enjoy ourselves. Thank you for sharing the experience…fyi, the cars are cool but I like the cast! The Vette does give different vibe but i just love cars and car people so the car is just another tool that helps “fix” relationships 😊

So one thing I noticed glaringly on this episode, you two cruising along, you see the guy in the Blazer stopped by the side of the road, you pull over “ hey you folks alright?” They were and you kinda hung back to make sure they were. You do a burnout and the radiator doesn’t like it and pukes fluid all over the ground. There had to have been at least 3 Tesla drivers pass you hood up back glass up, the sign of oops we’ve got some serious shit going on here, not one stopped to ask if you were ok, needed a hand, not even a kiss my ass carbon spewer. Later on you had that issue with the temp creeping up and pull over and that Camaro pulls over to ask if you’re good. Goes to show you something doesn’t it, if you’re in trouble by the side of the road don’t think a Tesla drivers going to stop and help they’re not car people.
