I just yell things into the mic and my team does everting else. It is great!

*Me, wanting to get better at Splatoon* Wait a second... *Realized I'm so used to solo-pushing that I can't do well in S rank* OOOOOHH.

This is surreal seeing how far you've come in a year Derp. You've made such good videos, your skill has grown tremendously and you've gotten scarily wise lol. Here's to an amazing effort you put into your current and future videos! 👏😁

Maybe I should find a team lol, it sounds way better than my teammate in X rank throwing the game because they forgot to put the clam in the basket.

This was an amazing video! This is a great intro and explanation of the beginnings of getting into the scene. Hopefully many people see this and can be equally inspired to look into a competetive career. Oh and, while I’m here, for anyone looking for more guides and content out there watch a guy called Wadsm’s guides at improving and weapon roles. Super useful for anyone at any level. Anyway great video again and keep it up!

I've experienced this recently in rocket league, I entered my first tournament with 2 others who had never played a tournament. We ended up not even winning a single game thanks to bad coordination and callouts, moreover bad mechanics and decision making was also there, normally in ranked it would've been fine and we'd have won if it was ranked, but since it was a tournament with people who've played at a higher level, we crumbled. Soon I'll be signing up for another tournament, hoping to make it at least 1 series win on my side.

Are you a comp rocket league player who plays Splatoon then? Interesting regardless and gl in that tournament

I am really glad I got recommended this video. Have never thought of competetive play but I defo got bitten by the anarcy bug and REALLY enjoyed when I got a good team or had some awesomely close matches, but that only ever came out when ya know - a team played as a team, and in solo queue and anarchy those moments are few and far between. Maybe Okita just needs to bite the bullet 'n try smoll tourneys x3 Fantastic work peeps! Noaw I'm feeling M O T I V A T E D >:3

So, what makes someone a competitive player and how do you become one? (I understand that the video explains that but I just need a more simple explanation)
@DerpKnightS3 Жыл бұрын
Participating in tournaments with a team. You can join discord servers like IPL (Inkling Performance Lab) and sendou.ink are good places to start.

@@DerpKnightS3 Outside of tournaments, is there any way to play competitive.

I would just like some knowledge on where to go to join a comp team and get into the competitive scene of splatoon I've been playing the game for over 1k hours and would just like to know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated and an awesome video btw.

Discord servers like splatoon stronghold and sendou ink are a good place to start. Refer to Squid School's video about that.

nlg most of this video is not really that true but somewhat still true, id say that from my best x Rank power of 2000, not high enough to be considered very good competitively but still decent enough to be worthy of a few words... yes mental is the absolute one thing that must be in check in order to win a match or to get good results, but the one thing i see is that when people start losing they tend to start trying very drastic measures to obtain a win that can detriment your overall success, i recommend instead of trying something huge try different angles of what you were meaning to do, it can help much better then a Straightline to them or a unchecked wide path to your target, maybe that angle will help you see an enemy sharking and let you have a better angle of attack also if you want to go competitive please for gods sake before you start perfect your gear on your main and backup that you claim to use *if you have a set of weapons you are good if not as good as ur main* and for as far as gear goes dont pick chunks to fit a playstyle you want to end up in, pick chunks only for your current playstyle, and please update the gear each season it soon may become absolute and maybe holding you back, like opening gambit vs last ditch effort
