Hola Familia! We had another dreaded inspection from the Mobile Home Park... if you can, buy a Single Family Home, less control and more freedom to do what you want with your outdoor spaces and you'll have a garage to make your shop inside where you can enjoy a nice working area.
But I digress....So we needed to have the outdoor area free of some storage cabinets and other things needed to be moved around.
Turned out to be a HUGE Undertaking, between re arranging the Big Shed and getting rid and sorting through a lot of junk we had been collecting.
But we did it! All the familia pitched in at one point or another and we did it!!
In the end it was a great way to have our carport more open and a blessing in disguise, despite my grumbling and rumbling that the park was unfair with not letting us have storage. We moved it into the shed and now the cabinets are a bit more protected from winds and rain (when we get it)

I wish my mobile home park would let residents put up fencing. It really helps make your wonderful outdoor area cozy.

Love it!! I have a friend in Northern Cali and she says everything is so green and beautiful! Thank you, I reused this flagstone that originally was in the front yard and put it in the backyard 😃, I like it too! Thanks for watching!!

Hola. The papaya tree sends out a flower before the fruit starts. what you pointed at is the young fruit. be careful not to touch it as it may fall off. i think because it is in a pot you may have less fruit for the first yield. Water early morning or late evening. when you water during full sun your plants dry out faster. Good luck.

Hola @teddyp938!! Gracias! I started watering daily when I did my irrigation (I think that helped it get strong again - it was struggling) and definitely need to put o. The ground but I have a groundhog that is a mercenary!! 😭 I also saw that I need more fertilizer and I added worm compost 🙏🏽 Thanks for sharing!!

Is your home is on a mobile home park you dont own the land and there are regulation that you have to follow and the front of your home looks like a jungle with all the plants that you have and everything else.Lucky for you that you got away that long for then to tell you to get rid of the stuff. If you like plants that much you have to buy a place were there is a lot of land. You have trees that grow very tall and they should not be there.Inspire in what you didnt get rid of nothing at all.

Yes, I explained I live in mobile home and I that whenever possible one should try to buy a single family home. (Mobile homes are a great way to start homeownership imo, if you can buy but aren’t at the point to buy bigger) I love my jungle, plants are my favorite and my trees are in pots so they can’t get too big. It’s a matter of perspective and personal preference- I’m only here to share my experience and journey.

Hi Zussie! Did you graft the peach tree? As far as I know, graftet trees take 1-2 years to fruit for the first time, but non-grafted ones (=just the plant from the seed) takes at least 5 years (at least hear in northern europe) :-) But perhaps its different in your area, climatewise and all. PS how about an edge trimmer for your little gras patch? And i loved this little makeover!

Hi @KarMa-ws3ll thank you! So cool to have you here, what part of Europe are you at? The peach tree is from seed, my dad planted it, I think I’ll have to wait the 5 years or more- my weather here in SoCal in winter is not as cold as I think the peach tree needs but here’s hoping! 🤞 🥲 (I don’t think I can graft it at this point and I’m not at that gardening level 😁) I have an edge trimmer but I feel it chews the grass and it’s definitely faster, thanks for the advise 💖 I might break down and use it when I can’t do the hand cutting. Thanks for your nice comment and hope you have a great day!

@@ZussieMakesit thanks a lot! I am from Germany - we surely have enough cold weather :-) We had several fruit trees in my parents garden (peach, plum, different old apple and pear varietes with several different species on one tree) but my grandfather was kind of a tree whisperer, he grafted them for all his children. Im renting though, so I only have a balkony of tomatoes and zuchinis !

PS: I also think - even if it takes years and even if there are no fruit ... its still a nice tree and a miracle, coming from a free seed!

@KarMa-ws3ll awesome!! Danke schon! (My German is limited I took it when little and then in college, I wish I knew more! ) Your childhood garden sounds lovely and even more that your grandpa was such a skilled gardener!! And love that you have your garden in your apartment, 👏🏼👏🏼 I haven’t tried zucchinis yet, but I hope to try them next year!
