For the rest of us, it’s getting involved in organizations, donating, and being willing to be part of a long term fight of dismantling and shifting this patriartic and capitalistic systems that allow for oppression against women, people of color, lgbtq, and poor folks.

Personally, the astrology we have had for almost all of august (and especially when we were mercury rx in Virgo) has been AMAZING for me. It’s not really that any spectacular thing has happened, except for the fact that I now I’m not in total stress over my job prospects, and that has opened up exponentially. But man, I just feel like the biggest weight has been lifted off of me, even in areas aside from career and financial. I was healing from a very abusive relationship, and also I am almost to my one year date of being in recovery from substance abuse, and I have honestly felt like I was in some sort of emotional and mental coma for several months and looking back, I can just see that it had to have been so many blocks that I couldn’t out and I saw no foreseeable end to. But wow, now I just feel like my days are starting to be sunny again and I have so much hope for my future and so many prospects. I feel like this is what I’ve been waiting for for such a long time and I can’t wait to see what happens. I’m so grateful.

I learned this from Hasanabi, but the DNC was pretty regulated even in the perimeter so only delegates or invited members could protest. The rally in GA yesterday had some great moments of protest. Still needs to be much more and much louder, but yeah it's crazy out here

Chani, I love you dearly! I have subscribed to your emails years ago. I'm an avid listener. I have the app, I've done the workshops. You've blown the roof off of Astrology in a way that I haven't seen anyone do. Censoring what you know to be true, you cannot. People need to hear harsh realities sometimes. Radical compassion. The two party system is broken. Those that have been paying attention know this. We can't tap dance around it anymore, that serves nothing. I was originally a Liberal, now I'm an Independent. Somewhere in the middle because everyone is on a spectrum. I totally agree with the let down. When we start seeing the party celebrate republicans supporting them like they did at the convention, I get the worst deja vu. 'Let's cater to the right wing to be more inclusive' got us a different version of a broken healthcare system when we could have had single payer, it gave us convoluted 'student loan relief' instead of justice for an exploitative educational loan system, and it continues to give us an ever increasing amount of justifications for our taxes funding the murder of civilians.

I could explain more but i'm sure this statement is enough to get your mind going on more associations. also I have many taurus placements and I personally have been battling this monstrous blood thirsty rage/contempt. Right now Looking for a job and I can't get to the healer that I need, all this childhood trauma is resurfacing and It's difficult even with all the spiritual knowledge I have to be patient, kind, mindful, demure lol. I'm sure there's republican astrologers out there for them to follow. Chani, as a queer Jewish woman of color, has always been clear about where she stands politically from her early blog post days. I don't think she will hide her values and views to sound neutral in an effort to appeal to all.

It's almost impossible for humans to be entirely neutral and objective because our backgrounds, lived experiences, and education/socialization affects how we view everything, including astrology. And I mentioned Chani being Jewish because she has explicitly said many times in her videos that her understanding of Judaism informs her political ideology and view that striving for social justice is a spiritual duty. Historically in the US, most Jews were Democrat and involved in the civil rights movement, but it seems times have changed...
