It’s crazy because when I think of last Vegas in my mind it’s been there since the beginning of time. But to know the casinos started in the 40s is hard to believe!

The monorail must be the most inconveniently planned transportation system in the world. However, I'm sure it was by design to require visitors to walk all the way through hotels on its stops just to get to the stations.

I don't know! I think they may have because where I think it is (modern food court area) had to have dug it up being remodeled. But that's a guess.

As of July 2024, the Tropicana casino is no more. It is being demolished and a sports stadium is being built on the site.

Thanks, Bennet! That was the tough part of making this documentary, because I knew the fate of the Tropicana. However, I am also a big baseball fan (Angels) and I am very interested to see a baseball stadium on the strip!
