Back around '05, my wife said 'let's do a fantastic vacation"... Her oldest boy was 15 and wanted to visit Compton, I told him NO WAY. We settled on LA and I started checking package deals. Our title clerk here at the dealership told me we could go to Honolulu for virtually the same money. She was correct! We got 2 rooms in a large hotel on the quiet end of Waikiki, our room had an ocean view, the boys room only had a small glimpse of water but a great view of Diamond Head. Bucket list trip that I thought we could never do. We came home a week later plumb wore out, but we had a blast! Since then we've gone to Indian Rocks Beach several times and Gatlinburg 2-3 times a year. I can drive to IRB in 12 hours, G'Burg in 3 hours.

Only hope someday we can do more, It's so sad to see. They would come up to the beach trash cans and get any leftovers and drink what might be left out of soda cans. We were able to get some cash to a few for meals but they were all respectful and would never ask you for anything. And then there were the hustlers, they would hand you a CD and then tell you they are gonna need a $20 and they have change! hahaha

Loved the visit to Venice Beach. I follow another KZbinr- German in Venice. He does videos thete all the time. There was a time when homeless had camps set up all along there and he would interview them. Was it a culture shock going from Dollywood to Hollywood? LOL. The place you had tacos was in one of GIV videos too. Cheech and Chong were there awile back with their purple car giving out free drinks and photos. Was pretty neat. Love watching the skateboarders but sad they dont wear helmets. Kudos to the little guy for wearing his. Hope you got your underwear back..lol

That Mitsubishi outlander you are driving was just like our old one and they run really great up gills and everything. It has very good 4x4 mode also but we traded ours in for a 2022 Mitsubishi. Outlander bc we trade in for newer each year or every other year.

Thanks for the tour of Vinewood Hills, to Vespucci Beach, to The Del Perro Pier, back to Vespucci, to downtown Los Santos, back to Vinewood Hills, to Vinewood Blvd. I used to work for a company that did store resets all over the country. I actually worked at that Pep-Boys on Hollywood Blvd for a month. Those Cali mountains got nothing on The Great Smoky Mountains.

The scooters were about 20 miles on a charge at about 20 miles an hour. They were super fun I think I’m gonna have to buy one! The waves were small the ocean was pretty calm while we were there.
