I love Dubrovnik! ♥ I threw up there when I was little, in some famous restaurant in the center of the city, it was a real "Walk of shame" for me and my parents. We were in Montenegro the most of the summer. My aunt has a house there. I didn't feel well. Every summer I got sick because the Montenegrins don't have the sewerage system filtered but they release feces directly into the sea and I love to dive a lot so you got the idea, I got some bacteria which made me throw up a lot. Every year the same story. Montenegro is the real ecological disaster. So, anyway, my parents waited for me to get better for a few days, so we could go to Dubrovnik, but I was ill, didn't get better, so they decided to go without me, but I started begging them to take me with them, so thay did. I was good for the most of the ride, even though the curves were very sharp, but I did it, I made it to Dubrovnik. Oh, the view from the mountain, omg!!! We managed to visit a lot of sights, the fortress, the aquarium, the church, the Stradun street, but when we sat down in the restaurant and I started eating, omg, I couldn't resist, I threw up. It was shameful but the people were nice. No one looked at me wrongly. They were great! Our waiter were great, but I couldn't eat anymore. My parents were afraid that I would threw up again, so we went back to Montenegro. My memories of Dubrovnik are mostly nice, but when we went on the parking we found our car scratched on the side. My parents think that this was because of the Belgrade plates. It was the year before the Third Balkan War started. Nevertheless, Dubrovnik will always be in my best memory. I love Dubrovnik. My son says that we will live there when we go to Heaven. I showed him pictures and he says-"That is heaven and we will live there". Love Dubrovnik! I hope Serbs will be welcomed there someday, if not, in heaven we will be! Amen. And that's what's important. Nothing else. Glory to the God! ♥

Drogon: We were there. The buildings only look sturdy, actually they are built rather poorly and crumble from mere breathing.

Amazing city in an amazing country, however the prices are absurd for Croatia and students don't pay to visit the walls, as long as they have only 3 types of international student cards. They didn't accept my French one when they are part of the EU and the EU gives them money to preserve everything 🙄
@derbigpr5005 жыл бұрын
EU gives us shit to preserve Dubrovnik, didn't even pay for war damages.
