What a beautiful story. I am in ministry as a lay person after being in a toxic marriage for 45years two years ago I started divorce proceedings because of adultery. I found God and over 20years in healing and deliverence I found true life abd happens following the Lord. AMEN and Amen.

In Indonesia we also have several Catholic Priests who are also working as engineer beside taking care of pastoral ministry. They are absolutely engineer with bachelor, master and even in doctoral degree who are also teaching in university. They put the paradigm of Catholic Priest also contribute in our educational and national development.

Actually, prior to Vatican II Council, receiving the Holy Eucharist on hands would ne sacrilergious and it should have been the same today. Only the ordained hands of the priest can handle the Communion.

Nice ceremony, but what after that? Is the priesthood really needed in our church? At what point in history did the memorial of Christ became a sacrifice that we need to offer to God? I know the importance of rituals, but when rituals dominate us, that is a big problem. A faith that does not question is dead.
