I had the honor to meet this man. He used to volunteer to do mass In Illinois prisons. He’s hands down the most understanding and open minded priest ive met. The Catholic Church needs more priest like him. I’ve heard him use science in his ceremony’s, something that’s unheard of in the Catholic Church. God bless this man.

I'm 16 years old and I am going through the same situation as him. I was thriving to go for Film and Television industry for 2 years then to be a professional wrestler but I gave that up for the final call. God has been using my Nana for years, she would always say I'm gonna be a priest. Even my other family members. I denied because I hated to be one. But I now accept it. God Bless You All.

It is hard to give up something you love and have done for your entire life. Yet I don't think all those practices, games and tournaments were for nothing. I've talked to a parish priest (my college chaplain) - hmm... having received regular spiritual directions for around nine months, he said I seemed to have a Vocation and (according to him) the signs are obvious - but in the past month I don't 'feel' any sentiment nor 'calling' (although I'm willing to follow Jesus IF HE EXPLICITLY tells me to do so some point in my life)... pray for me! Especially when I'm too occupied with my hectic study

You never know if the person next to you will ever become a priest, nun, or someone special to minister the word of God. You never know if the person sitting next you, you will either marry or they will become someone famous. You may not talk to that person because they are ugly, not special to you, but they may be famous. Something special. I heard God is funny and mysterious.
