As a Met fan going all the way back to the 1970s. I loved Rocker. The entertainment spectacle alone. But beneath the headlines though, he was a formidable pitcher. And with that attitude, if pointed in a different direction, he actually would've fit right in in NY

Its utterly humiliating to admit that as a gay fan of Mr. Rocker, and a formerly staunch activist for equality before He came forward with this, that in the years leading up to present day I've slowly submitted, bent the knee, went back in closet after being out for 36 years, divorced my husband so i can focus all of my energy and money supporting Men like Mr. Rocker, and yet i still become ever more Thankful, Reverent, and utterly prostrate to Manly Str8 Men like Mr. Rocker every day.
