We made same mistake and we did this trail back to back after cape Alava. it took 4 days for us because we are beginner and we overloaded ourselves with tons of fresh foods. :) 1st day - Happy Five (We started around 4 pm) 2nd day - Lewis Meadow (it is beautiful camp ground - I suggest you to go deeper next to the river. there are small islands accessible during summer. Perfect camp ground) 3rd day - All the way up to Blue glacier and returning to the camp (14 miles day hike from levis meadow) 4th. day - getting back to my car and driving back to seattle.

12:30 looks like a Bob Ross painting. Crazy how beautiful this is.. I honestly feel you can't encounter anything similar in the other 49 states. Washington pride.

Flowers in the snow. Is that a song? Very pretty. What is that skinny thing. That does not seem safe. Rope ladder!,,, what kind of animal was that making that sound?

I was just thinking of the flower views as an amazing fireworks display when you said that they ( the flowers) were " going off"! Very cool!!
