Great progression! Just keep going. It all of a sudden just clicks. You will be flying 3D in no time with the amount of practice you are putting in. I am moving to piro flips and it also is like learning all over again to keep the helicopter stable while rotating

@toadiscoil Thank you very much for your motivating words! My goal is slow 3D with low head speeds. Fluent transitions from upright to inverted and back different in ways, roll-loop combinations. I love this elegant and very fluent flying! Good luck with your piro flips! I am sure I will many times feel like beginning all over again!

You have made a lot of progress already mr. Copterlove! It’s all about sticktime. Try to keep the tail towards you when te heli drifts to the side. That way you don’t have to learn other orientations already. The first orientation upside down is the most difficult. With the other 3 inverted orientations, the collective stays the same. When you feel ready for the real world, take your m1 first over grass. Even though you have it down on the simulator, you will crash again in real life. The m1 is cheap to fix. I have a xk k110s for that purpose. Mostly no damage when crashing if i hit throttle hold in time.

@frisos3944 Thank you! Yes, normally I try to keep the tail pointed ALMOST towards me, because it's easier to estimate speed and dostance towards and away from me when I see a little bit from the side silhouette. But when my wife was recording the screen, I was explaining and talking while doing soemthing I should have been totally focused on... that was not easy!! I feel the progress. But it really takes sticktime!! The M1 tipp is great! Thank you for your encouragement and all the best for you!!

Learning inverted is a very nice challenge indeed. Nose in inverted always came more natural to me. When you're able to get all orientations and flying directions down it opens up a new word. I'm almost ready to try piroflips in real life and never expected to get to this point.
@RCCopterLove9 ай бұрын
@RubenRC94 You are right Ruben! It opens a whole new world and dimension to heli flying. I am doing fine now with inverted tail in and will continue training it until it feels natural! I am glad you are making progress you did not expect! I did for sure not expect to have real fun with inverted! All the best!!

I was just out flying, it will come after many many hours on the SIMM, TRUST ME. Remember what i told you, LEARN to HOVER INVERTED. You are DOING AMAZING. Yes going inverted is learning ALL OVER AGAIN, BUT you can do this.

@MARKLINMAN1 Thank you so much for your encouragement and your motivating words! Your comment to my last video 7 days ago gave the input to now really train to hover inverted in one orientation (tail in) until I get it precise and intuitive without further thinking. Thank you for your inspiration! I am just a bit worried that in this phase of learning I am flying for sure worst upright! Did you experience this as well and is this "confusion" a matter of too many new infos at one time??? Thanks for an short answer! :)

@@RCCopterLove No NOT all, the thing is NOT too think about it TOO MUCH, That is when you CRASH, it will be MUSCLE MEMORY. Spend equal time ON THE SIMM both RIGHT SIDE UP AND INVERTED, When you try outside go 2 mistakes high, BUT AGAIN Master it on the SIMM FIRST and the MUSCLE MEMORY WILL be there. Cheers.

@@MARKLINMAN1 Thank you! I will do so! The actual winter weather is my best friend for SIM flying! It's much too cold to fly outside now with below -12 degrees C! I will do equal inverted and upright training to get the feeel and muscle memory!!

Yeah, it's hard! 😀 For me, the training guide from helifreak helped me a LOT. It's called "From tail-in to all 8s and funnels in 6 months".

@lev_on_heli Thank you for the tip! I will watch helifreak guide!! It's always great to get new inspirations!!

Great video. Happy and safe flying buddy 👍🏻

@RCheliguy Thank you very much! As long as I do it only in the SIM it will be safe! I giuess I will train until spring begins before I will do it in the real world!! Safe and happy flying for you!!
@Rcheliguy9 ай бұрын
@RCCopterLove-helis4ever I totally get what your saying. But maybe try it with the m1 as it's an easy fix if it were to go wrong not that it would but its definitely worth thinking about. Any inverted flying I do will definitely be with my m1 first lol
@RCCopterLove9 ай бұрын
@@Rcheliguy Yes, I did all more crazy things with my M1's first.... sometimes not too sucessful though... 2 crashed in oneflight session when I tried flips too early... :D

Nice video, Matthias! 🤘🏻
@RCCopterLove9 ай бұрын
@James-T-RC Thank you James! I am trying to do as many of your "homework" exercises as possible! It really takes time until the right stickinputs are going into the muscle memory! And I have to train upright flying as well from the beginning!! I hope soon I - or better my brain - get this sorted!

Here we are again my friend, re-learning. I'm doing the same thing you are now. I keep switching between RealFlight Evo and AccuRC2. Since I'm used to doing delayed backflips on the Real Heli's, I'm finding it easier to learn nose in inverted hovers first. Like you, I'm spending more time on the sims again. The snow is melting, and I think I'll be able to get some more flying in this week. Keep it UP! I just put out a new video, and I think you'll find it interesting. Sorry I didn't edit it, as I'm still learning the camera settings.

@AnythingEverythingRC-rc1yc Hi! Yes, the SIM is my Saviour now! The weather is very bad for real flying, snow and very cold. But I am having more stick time than ever on the SIM. I tried inverted nose in for a second, but found it completely confusing. So I keep sticking to tail in inverted as long I dont have this perfect. I will watch your new video! Let's train!!

A really good thing to do it to turn the simulator speed down, it will help a lot ! Heli-x has this function..
@RCCopterLove2 ай бұрын
@shtumpa1 Thanks for this tip! I try to figure out if this is possible in the AccuRC 3 SIM I am using. I can imagine that at the beginning of a new Maneuver this will help a lot to understand what you have to do in which moment. Thats the great and brutal thing in helis: That so many things are happening in one moment or if not in the same moment many things are happening in a short amount of time and that all controls are having influence on the others!! Best greetings!!
