So glad I found you. I am a woman over 60 with Tourettes. I am researching my next step in using my identity to connect. I have always hidden my Tourettes because I did not want to distract from my business. I am listening to your words and hear them loud and clear.

Bowel disease is no joke. I think people dismiss it as just an inconvenience or not that big of a deal. I was a paramedic for 11 years and then an ICU and Hospice nurse for 22 and now I am in my pre retirement which is working with IBS/IBD patients and it’s hard to see sometimes how what is happening in their gut effects the rest of their lives. Emotion, clarity, anxiety, everything. Every aspect. Appreciate your honesty

Oh wow, thank you for sharing your insights and wisdom. I was diagnosed with IBD after my last burnout phase and just recently have a couple more confirmed diagnoses. I suppose I share them to show that these things don’t have to stop us living our dreams. So what’s Man Unhappy all about ?
