Hi Irit, thanks for sharing your fascinating art supplies 😍 I was wondering if you would do a vlog comparing the different brands and formulas of the luminous/ fluorescent colors you have? Just like you, I love Holbein luminous colors and was wondering how those compare to Golden fluorescent acrylic paints and inks and whatever else you have since you mentioned some of the Golden fluorescent colors are rather unique? 😄🙏

Hullo Irit, I wonder if you have access to LUKAS paints? LUKAS CRYL Liquid Artists' Acrylics and Studio Acrylics are quite nice with an even wider range of colors and in the squeeze bottles too! They are imported from Germany by Jerry's here in the states. They have a full line of paints in most every medium too! I used a set of their watercolors and found them satisfactory, but I am so in love with DaVinci watercolors that I will not be changing for quite some time! I have used Masonite boards like the Ampersand boards, quite thin. I use simple hooks glued to the back or glue a board to the back, I router out grooves for creating a place for a nail or hook to mount the picture to the wall. The board sets the picture out from the wall giving it a shadow effect.

Yes! Love Lukas! I have a few of their liquid paints but haven't gotten a chance to really play with them and get to know them. For sure they are the most cost effective option for me in Austria. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, big canvas add on,the texture is great. The wood board comparisons was good to see. Your Golden, High Flow colors💕 I went for light Phthalo Blue & my brights live in oranges: Charvin’s Golden Yellow, Amsterdam Red Gold acrylic. A Heavy Body Light Magenta for small marks🪷🐾🐾🖌️

I've done some experimenting using Golden " super matte" medium to shiny acrylics and it seems to work ( not regular matte medium, but the super matte). Both should help to make the Amsterdam matte.

You can mix air brush medium with your favorite acrylic paint to get an ink if you can't find it in your favorite brand.

You have to try vallejo paints. They are from Spain, so the paints are chepar for us from EU. I really like them.

I love watercolors! But I can't really use them on large canvases, so that's sad :(
