Boston needs pitching and God knows we need some bats. Need to get serious about Corbin Burnes, get him before the Yankees do. Would love to have Nolan Arenado and Teoscar Hernandez in our lineup. How can you be in on the Soto bidding and then suddenly go quiet... missing out on Fried only to trade for Crochet? Crochet was your plan B? Really??? And trading the no 1 catching prospect... sigh... smh I fear that Boston is to cheap to compete.

Hey guys, I don’t think anyone wants to come to Boston. Ownership has had a not so great reputation with its veteran players I.e. Mookie, Xander, etc. Red Sox are becoming irrelevant. Hope you’re reading this Mr. Henry. I also think the Soto thing was theater. They knew they’d never get him.

It was definite theater. Everyone was above $700 mil. Boston stood at &700 mil talking how they were in it but not enough to actually sign him. It was all a show. This ownership will find out this summer Crochett isnt enough. Especially if they dont extend him. Unless they get Burnes and a bat it basically the same team. This team has been a .500 team for the last half decade with one strange year thrown in. They need 2 top end pitchers this team has nobody better than a 3 so far right now besides Crochett. The need another top end pitcher and it isnt Luis Castillo. They are still in big trouble. They have an old and half injured bullpen. a bottom heavy rotation and a iffy lineup. I dont see much better than .500 still maybe 3or 4 games above if they are lucky. Nothing more than that though. This ballpark will be half empty by July. And I hope it is if they dont do more.
