Hi guys, big fan from Costa Rica. Just want to say this is definitely the funniest thing I’ve seen from screen junkies (and I pretty much watch all of it) Having Dan do the voice over makes it feel familiar and casual. Jurassic park have been doing gene splicing different reptiles over and over. If they want bring a new storyline thats what they can go with.
@mrsinister89786 жыл бұрын
Raghu Seetharaman Or what about a sequel with an Aliens vibe where a group of marine corps travels to Isla Muetra who don't know what they're getting into and run into dinosaurs & prehistoric creatures that we have yet to see in this franchise or under-utilized Dinos from the series, at least a few encounters with a Rex & some Raptors, like they could do the boat chase from Michael Crichton's novel. InGen should already know that it was a failed project & there's no need to genetically splice hybrids, that might of been cool at first, but the idea sounds so super cheesy & generic. So why not have something that is kind of similarly structured the same as Jurassic Park, but with a different vibe.
@Brook112236 жыл бұрын
If they do incorporate a specific storyline from Michael Crichton's novel I am okay with that.
@marcusporter75656 жыл бұрын
Raghu Seetharaman I'd watch that. Although I think that the Indominus Rex was a precursor due to thw fact that it killed for sport.

There would've been no problem if they just did herbivores. In Jurassic World they wouldn't have had their incident if they hadn't manufactured that intelligent monster with active camouflage.
@herrmuster52726 жыл бұрын

@lynniesaade47106 жыл бұрын
Modern large herbivorous animals are very dangerous, some even more so than many carnivores. This ironically, is the one area where Jurassic Park makes the dinosaurs not monstrous enough.

@DaBezzzz6 жыл бұрын
David Yes, well this one I think is really good at tense scenes and the story overall us waaaaaay better than the other sequels. I expected nothing more than a reboot of Jurassic Park: The Lost World with the setting of Jurassic World and came out positively surprised.
@theprofitdirector39466 жыл бұрын
I agree about the assistant's death. That poor woman spent that whole day in a panic, worrying about how fired she was because these two spoiled rich kids were mad at their Aunt. That's an incredibly horrible way to spend your last day alive, and the fact that no one cared at all speaks volumes of what the writers and director really think of "the help". I mean if Colin Trevorrow's assistant in real life got hit by a bus on the job, would he even call their family with the sad news and a tearful apology or would that be the replacement assistant's job? No one on the creative team thought it was even worth acknowledging with a "Boys, where is Zara?" and that's just sad.

Hey, Dan, et al, my guess is the shot of Nedry's shaving can going into the mud wasn't an attempt to set up sequels. I think it was an homage to a similar shot in Psycho where you see Norman Bates unknowingly put the money Marion stole into the back of her car and sink it to hide her murder. Both shots are winks at the audience that a seemingly important plot element actually has no significance beyond setting up an unrelated plot (Norman's murders / dino free for all.) It's a very Spielbergian thing to reference.

Best part for me was when Owen drives in reverse and the kids beg not to be left alone. Correcting their aunt when she stupidly assumes that they're talking to her. At this point they've seen her kick a dinosaur off of Owens head and shoot it in the face. All they've seen Owen do is drive in reverse. But apparently they read the script and knew what badass he was.
