Richie can come with you to the village in Springtime as long as you make short “boots” for him for the outdoors. These can be from suede or plastic restrained by elastic bands or laces. You are a smart woman. Always remember to make sure the roots are not bunched up when planting them. They need to be as long and free of being tangled together as possible, even if you have to trim them. This will guarantee they grow strong and quickly. Make sure they get a full day of sun exposure. Growing trees that produce fruits are the most important as you can make an incredible amount of food from them and all the extra you can share with your community. A simple tree limb sheer will help you reduce the size of firewood pieces. Store the wood on a tarp or plastic sheet to keep them from rotting and attracting pests. Never store next to the house, as this could invite pests to enter your house or make it easy to set your building on fire. Up against a portion of your metal fence would be a good place to store large quantities of wood, as open air exposure will dry the wood out quicker. The village is perfect for living a quiet, peaceful life. I can see why it is necessary to grow your own food. You should tell people you are a internet video bloggers, sharing documentaries on how the invasion has impacted the lives of the people. I would not allow them to assume and accuse you of spying, for this will only spread and get worse. Ask them if they watch KZbin and if so, hand them a card with your information on it. Before parting company, ask them if they have lost someone to the invasion? Tell them that you just came from the graveyard, memorial or church and thanked God for their sacrifices and you can tell them about your dead husband and how he fought for Ukraine - doing so will bond you to them.

Thank you so much, my Dear Friends!🥹❤️ I will tell you a story. Yesterday my best friend said: “I just can’t anymore. I decided to take all my money and fly to Egypt for 10 days”. I said: “I would go to my village and plant trees”. One may say: “You’d better spend this money for the Ukrainian Army”. We ARE helping every day. But we will be useless when we’re broken or demotivated. I’m not dreaming about Bali, Greece, or Mauritius. I just want to plant and see LIFE. When I’m surrounded by destruction…

One recommendation about planting trees. I would plant them no closer than 10 meters from the house. The leaves and debris from trees can damage roofs and their roots can get too close to underground utility lines. The farther away from the house you plant a tree the better. First order of business should be these things. 1. getting it inspected for structural integrity. 2. repairing any problems with the foundation. 3. repairing the roof . 4. fixing any issues with the utility lines. 5. inspecting the house for unwanted openings where drafts, and small animals can enter and sealing those. After taking care of these things first then you can focus on the more fun stuff like interior remodeling of the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc. But, you don’t have to take my advice. I will still love watching your videos while quietly saying to myself “no, no, no, she’s gotta do this first and then do that”🤣

I have pretty much the same thoughts. It's a very old house, so the foundation is probably good enough. I would rebuild the roof as soon as possible. Then dig trench next to foundation, put drainage for rain water and fill the trench with coarse gravel. Rainwater well further away from the house. Thermal insulation boards in the trench above pipes to avoid freezing. Probably not necessary in Ukraine because ground doesn't freeze too much.
@ThinkUkraine

@@pacifist9805 Interesting idea, but much depends on the slope of the ground. I think you may be talking about a French drainage system. I had to do that for my house. It works great if you get the slope right. I don’t think she has gutters on that house which means the rain can erode the ground around the foundation. If the outer framing wood for the roof isn’t rotted she could easily install gutters in that little house and funnel it to an underground French drain. But if it is rotted that will be replaced(hopefully) when they redo the roof.
@pacifist9805
@pacifist9805 2 ай бұрын
@@nole8923 Yes, that kind of system. I would add also gutters and lead rain water away from the house. Soil seems to absorb all the water. Probably no clay layer close the ground. So drainage and gutters are not needed. But I still recommend coarse gravel around the house and French drain system. Cheap and easy.

Vita,Dyakuyu, Greetings dearest very good friend, good to see you, especially as you are attractive beautiful fabulous woman and mother, wondering how you children are with these air attacks, Am very sure you are scared, terrified inside, you keep positive and attentive of all about in life, You will have a gorgeous garden very soon with slow work you can place trees in correct places, flowers can be anywhere, as well as a nice area to relax, By the way the villages have many years of being suspicious of new faces, given time that may change, Be very careful do look after yourself and your children, pets, please stay safe, warm, secure, Dyakuyu Vita, your dearest very good friend Andrei, SLAVA UKRAINA, 🌱✨️🤞👍😉🙂💋❤️💙💛🌻🇺🇦🇪🇺

Dear Vita (I hope to remember in the right way your name..), I'm an Italian watching your channel here in Italy and I think your videos are describing, much better than a lot of words, how common people are living now, during the war. Sometimes you are made me crying. As you know, here in Italy some people (and also some politicians..) are not agree to send army and helps to Ukraine: I strongly believe that if they will watch at your videos they will change idea. I hope and I pray for this war will stop as soon as possible. Goodby .

VITA you're looking good today and your smile is really nice to see. There's a Ukrainian farmer on KZbin that burns a lot of that stick wood like you were collecting Emperor's really good if you break it up in a little pieces about foot and just cut as much as you can it's basically free and there's lots of it. I've seen a couple different Ukrainian Farmers that have eight KZbin presents and they were showing when you're how they collect all that free firewood like you were holding. By the way honey don't Garden at night you can't see what you're doing in the morning it's better I'm glad to see that you're okay. It really needs to ask somebody in your village or one of the other Villages that has a rotor tiller and you need to rotor till your yard where you're going to plant vegetables and other things. You know what I would suggest is on your KZbin channel ask for help honey because there's other people close by that are on KZbin that are in the Kiev Region and I'm sure somebody would be willing to come over your house in your village and help you. I'm in San Pedro California like I told you before but if I was there I would have went hesitate come over and help you. I'm glad you're building more drones that's wonderful. To the people that watch VITA'S KZbin channel. Go on to Google Google Republicans in the House of Representatives United States and the Speaker of the House you need to send emails and you need a text message and you need to find out these people have Twitter or Facebook access using my friends you need to basically tell them to stop holding up money for Ukraine I would do it twice a week at call and email the Speaker of the House and the whip and a few other Republicans have power. I've been saying this now to everybody on other KZbin channels if you care about Ukraine you got to tell these Republicans stop being Vladimir Putin's buddy he's a war criminal.

I do hope you can get the required renovations to your village shelter done at an affordable price, when it is warm and weather proof I think you will really love it. I love seeing it, and the village though I too was a bit shocked at the interrogation you received about being a spy 😮😅 but your explanation about it made sense and such are the times. It is understandable, I guess, but funny because we know you are a fantastic ambassador doing so much good for your country, she obviously does not use KZbin 😉 Greetings from the UK. 🙏

I would like to make a suggestion about the gravel that you have in front of your house, use that gravel at your entrance way, lay it down on the ground leading to your house and on the inside of your leading to your house you can drive and park your car on it on your property and if you need to use some of it other places you can remove it, that's better than leaving it outside of your property

You night owl, you! Planting trees laid into the night because it's too cold to go inside and go to bed.:-) was this your first time spending the night at your village house? Also, I can imagine why the local villagers might be suspicious of an outsider filming their village. Thanks for another beautiful video. Hopefully the next time you go out to your village house you can take some wood so that you don't have to scrounge for wood from your neighbor.

I love watching your daily life videos. I have advice; have the neck and hinges at the entrance lubricated. They will open faster, easier and will creak a lot less, and you will be satisfied because you will no longer have to try so hard to open and close them. I recommend WD40, but it can be any grease, even butter or tallow, which is probably abundant in the village.😊

you know what - "ruZZian spy" ? Even that video was an emotional rollercoaster! To fear a heartbreaking story of no way to get at least a little bit of warmth, that relief that it somehow worked out, that relaxing tranquility, really holidays in front of the screen, only during CoVid exactly 4 years ago it ever was so silent, till that flashback to German history there, the template to what happens now and the anger and outrage it creates, because if YOU Ukrainians with YOUR Ukraine would have always left in the peace you deserve, you would not only be the most adorable, you would be the envy of the world, a much better world. And much better streets of course... "To be continued" - luckily! Looking forward to that! You know - I know you know - you showing that is exactly THAT Ukraine that creates confidence and connection. I am worried, that part of that difficulty of many people to fully commit to Ukrainians is not being able to process all that surreal stuff with the bombed buildings, bombed power plants, power outages - and people still living and enduring - probably even a cynical calculation of RuZZia in their aim to shift attention away from Ukraine. But no - with your relatable videos about dog classes, tree nurseries or village groceries the singing birds and the fresh air that blew out of the screen - you make your audience for ever fully part of your life. A blessing! 💙💛
