There are carwash stations everywhere in the UK without any need to wash it in the canal..?? The water has enough pollution already.. without adding more.. Anyway . will. There is nothing I can say about your videos that hasn't been said before. You have a knack of making them interesting and informative and should be proud of yourself for editing them and presenting them in the way that you do. From the very first time you uploaded a video you have shown the upside and down side of life on a narrow boat.. for this you have to be commended... I'm glad to hear that you are safe and well mate.and that you have family members around you... which is always a good thing to see.. Your health is paramount to you and your family members.. I know that living on a narrow boat makes it hard to see a doctor or dentist as you are constantly moving.from one place to another however there are ways to get around this problem . Anyway will keep smiling mate ...I am looking forward to your next video..👍👍👍👍 .. keep safe and well.

Lovely fish further back too,at Dunham,by the narrow stetch.Happy days on my push bike and fishing tackle,before life got complicated 😅 Love the vlogs,be careful up round Plank lane too☠️

Hey Will I just got in from a 14 hour shift most of which was spent on the wonderful M25 going from one jam to another, lorry driving is great and I can highly recommend it......eh not.....anyway here I am knackered and I have to watch your vlog which is like medicine for the soul. Your in my neck of the woods there , where you stayed overnight in Dunham I regularly go fishing and there’s big perch in there , the stop in sale I’m surprised people didn’t knock on you’re boat for a bacon sandwich as it’s where the cafe boat is usually moored , the joggers and cyclists will push you in the canal if you don’t move out of the way in sale they’re very serious 😂, usually dinging their bell 200yrs away with an instruction to move left or right , it’s definitely a busy stretch of canal

Hi Will. That narrow stretch for a few hundred yards at Dunham, - between. Lymm and Altringham - is the result of a major breach there in 1972. The canal runs on an embankment, crossing the River Dane. It failed in the same way as happened near Middlewich recently. It took e several years to rebuild ( a lot longer than repairing the Middlewich branch of the Shroppie ) and was rebuilt much narrower than before to keep the cost down. I was moored, for a weekend, at The point where it breached three days before. Often wondered if it was me driving in my mooring pins that led to the breach occurring a few days later ! HaHa. Lovely stretch of canal though. 👍

Afternoon Will, I am in the final stages of discussions with the boss about a move to Cornwall, and watching your vids I am going to get myself a boat, 'I have not broached' this negotiation yet with her indoors, but I am liking the Hatterass and Colvic boats, I will of course engineer the price of a bungalow to leave a few bob for such a purchase, the Mrs is very astute so I may get thwarted and end up with a rowing boat, but she's not showing the signs of being aware yet, aside from looking at bungalows that would only leave enough to purchase a oar for said tender 😂

Hi Will. Another great video thanks. Lymm is amazing isn't it? Do I gather you are going across the Ribble Link soon? I recall you mentioned an April 7th date to get to Tarleton. I sail model boats in Southport, just round the coast from Tarleton and it'd be nice to give you a wave as you set off into the incoming tide at Tarleton. Very windy at the moment and I see the timetable for crossings on CRT website shows mid morning on Sunday tomorrow. Are you going then or later in the month when weather may be calmer? Yeah its a shame regarding manufacturing and little shops that repaired things, used to be this great shop in Cambridge you could take electronic kit like stereos and the like to, they would fix them for next to nothing, gone now and trying to get things that are not all that old repaired now is £50 or more to analyse to then tell you your better of purchasing a new item for a fortune.
