So stupid. This is all a marketing spend. A $100 Casio or considerably cheaper is more durable and keeps better time. Obviously professional sports athletes aren't using these watches when it comes to needing accurate time or when they really need to be able to count on the watch. Sure, if you want to have a little swag and wear something that's pretty cool I get it. But on this attachment to high-end Sports is ridiculous because it's all paid for. Don't fool yourself but if you like the watch by it.

Rolex has become a daggy brand because they can’t or won’t innovate like Tudor anymore, and are stuck making the same handful of watches that were once timeless but have become stale. Tudor has modernized classic designs so they’re exciting and interesting again, while retaining what was classic and timeless about them. When I see someone with a Rolex I tend to think ‘oh, look, someone who has no originality but wants to show off their brand recognition, and how much moneh they have. When I see someone who is wearing a Tudor I think, there’s someone with a bit of personality and style, and just happens to have some money.

@@jakevalentine3282 the irony of someone championing Rolex accusing others of owning basic watches 😂 hate to break it to you, Captain Class, but your mass produced, everybody-has-one hype watch isn’t the symbol of class and culture you think it is. Rolex CAN be classy, but some of the least classy people on Earth wear it. Because everyone wears it. The black bay might be becoming something everyone wears too, but it knows what it is and isn’t trying to be a class symbol. Just a fucking cool watch. Will I wear it to a formal dinner? No, but I wouldn’t wear a Rolex to one either, because I want to have more class than #trustfundbabynumber45321 or just another trend follower. Class has more to do with the way you behave than your wallet. Money doesn’t make you classy. Nor do your comments.
