Does brushing the eggs damage the bloom? Do you have to refrigerate them?

There is always a chance. I would recommend any egg that is brushed or washed to be refrigerated after. Although we've never had a problem with brushing them, it's best to be safe.

How much do you guys sell a dozen fresh eggs...I have a flock in my back yard and share with my family...friends ask how much to buy some and I really Don t know what is a fair price?

Hey Amy. We sell ours for $5 a dozen and we have been the same price for a couple years now. We just calculate all of our costs and break it down by the chicken and the egg and determine what we need per dozen.

We get our cartons from Bi-Mart and we get the labels from Walmart or Amazon.

Yes, organic, non gmo, no corn, no soy, drug free. However, we aren't selling eggs currently. We were selling for $5 a dozen here.

Yeah, Washington state requires a permit to sell eggs off farm.
