I searched for a video like this to see if I was the only one out there who's an RN wanting to transition to/add on health coaching. I shared my intention with a few co workers and they seemed little skeptical, which of course gave me some feelings of self doubt. I am feeling reassured now that I am on the right track though. Seeing another RN be successful with this, as well as seeing the comments of other RNs who are also doing the same.

Yay! So glad to hear that. It's totally normal to receive skepticism from others. Don't let this stop you. It's your life, not theirs ;) I've worked with dozens of nurses and other health professionals. Totally doable. :)

Hi can you recommend a health coaching course for the Uk as a nurse. So many take you through anatomy physiology ect and aren’t designed specifically for nurses.

Hey Karla. I don't know of any specific ones in the UK but you're welcome to join my Facebook group and ask in there to see if anyone has a recommendation: facebook.com/groups/796082097104741. If you want to practice as a health coach and not under your nursing license, which is what a lot of my clients do, then it shouldn't matter if the course is in the UK or specifically for nurses.

This is true if insurance would cover it and you could work with clients however you want and charge what you want but unfortunately this is not the case. Being a 'cash' practice allows you to do the work you want in the way you want so that you get the best results for your clients. ;)
