Top notch episode Waffles. Just baffles me the "rules" of war back then and how they were carried out. I've read about Tarleton several times over the years and heard the story about him not being invited to the officer dinner. A good argument could be made really for the British officer(s), who were in charge of the prison ships, to been shunned as well. Just in my opinion. The treatment of those soldiers on those ships, was one out of spite, I feel, since they considered them traitors to the crown.

Really it’s people being people. Once someone has worked one group up into a frenzy to hate another group they no longer see each other as human. The longer the war drags on the worse they treat each other
