My best friend my brother went to santaria. They told him what they tell all seekers. That he was special very powerful that he his saint was the strongest and most feared. Thank you for this. I remember my first and only time practicing voodoo by saying a voodoo love prayer, and it completely wrecked many years of my life. The prayer did not work and I ended up getting sexually harassed by several different males including the one that I was praying over. He explained this perfectly. As a Cuban, I grew up around this. All the rituals, “Saints” (Yemaya, Ochun, Ogun, Obatala etc) they’re demons. They take you to Cuba to assign a demon to you they call it “aserte santo”. You have to get cut, head shaved, many rituals, wear white for a year, eat on the floor for a year, and give something up (I.e. never going in the ocean or in a boat for the rest of your life) it’s different for each demon. Wear beads on your neck and wrists, perform rituals daily for the rest of your life. I was never assigned one thank God. I was always scared of these things even though I grew up amongst it. They would call me “slurs” like Christian or Pentecostal and I never knew what it meant. They deceive you so much because they make it seem like they’re doing these things in the name of God, often times they will pray to God and saints before performing the rituals. I was annointed by The Lord and I didn’t know until later in my early 20s. I’ve rebuked all of that from my life and I’m a follower of Christ. Only baptism is the way of God that’s stuff with 21 division was a ritual. Let’s not use Baptism in the word of the ritual. I use to practice ATR’s and I’m glad God removed me from that mess. What can I say and do while in spiritual warfare? At night especially I get attacked. Heavy presence, partial paralysis, walking feeling on bed. Been saved for 15 years but faithfully walking with Him for over 4 years now. The oppression has gone on since right before I got saved 15 years ago. My husband is unsaved but I feel he is very close to surrendering. Thank you for your prayers and advice.

It’s also difficult because I have my unbelieving husband sleeping right next to me. A lot of what I pray is in my mind and it eventually goes away. But I feel like I’m not saying the right things.

@@lizj3815 Some things that I learned in my walk: I say it out loud "I rebuke every attack, and every evil against me IN JESUS NAME". It always works because Jesus is always there with us watching. He wants us to use our faith. I also declare the word of God out loud. Psalm 91 is really good I put worship in the background "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12

This looks just like a story from his experience but on his behalf this is real I’m Mexican my mother had two friends they did the same things they did to him to me I was young I didn’t know this was demonic I had his same faith up to the point the person I had doing this to me she called her self alta gracia she told me alone no one els around me she used voodoo behind the saints she claimed was saints of god so people keep coming to her for help after I stopped I had nothing but trouble threw my life I didn’t seek god I continued my life things only got worse just recently I started coming to god now I’m starting to see spirits I don’t let it bother me anymore my savior Jesus Christ is starting to show me the right path and I’ll continue to have faith I love you god I repent for any wrong doings I had been involved in following the 21 divisions forgive us god 🙏 amen
