This conversation advances not only the sport of swimming but applies to all athletes in every sport. It is also a good place for athletes who don't have a strong support system to gain insight on life after athletics whether it ends on a high or low note. Good job.

Amazing! Without revealing my age, (let's just say Tracy Caulkins was my hero!) I had my high school career cut short and was wanting to continue in college but not encouraged. No therapy etc... I totally relate..at any age. Thank you

Great podcast ! Athlete voices and mentorships are what is needed more in this domain of the transition from participation into a different working or contributory role. It was one of the themes addressed at the recent World Aquatics Forum in Doha. It would be great if you could get some male athletes on your podcast who have gone through this. Males need role models to tell them it is OK to explore their feelings.
