My late aunty designed the rooster on Kellogg’s cornflakes!!! :) My family’s claim to fame lol! She was a super artistic, talented lady who would always give us cool shirts for Christmas with creative designs on them. We lost her during COVID- may she rest in peace xxoo

I have lived here in Battle Creek almost 40 years. My husband grew up here. Another cereal giant was C.W. Post who (edit: was a patient ) before leaving with notes that helped him start his own cereal company. My husband works there now at Post Foods.. Really interesting stories there including the neighborhood Post Addition where many of the families lived who worked there. And how his daughter Marjorie took over the company when her dad died of suicide. Bird's Eye frozen foods and other endeavors followed. At one time over a hundred cereal factories were in this town, and two made it where the others didn't. The old sanitarium was knocked down ( smaller part of San across the street from large building which is now the Federal Center) but was here for years. Fun history ❤

Welcome to my home town of Battle Creek, MI. One day you should visit the grave of Sojourner Truth, 1797 - November 26, 1883) was an American abolitionist and activist for African-American civil rights, women's rights, and alcohol temperance. She is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Battle Creek, MI. TY for your exceptional work Jordan.

Light therapies are still being studied extensively today, such as red and near infrared light as well as treating blood with low levels of ultraviolet light. Been studied and used for decades but demonstratively opposed by pharmaceutical companies. Not sure what Kellog was doing though.

Corn flakes and fruit loops where my favourites as a kid. Kellogg’s came to Australia back in 1924 apparently. Great video Jordan. While watching this I saw you posted a Del Shannon video yesterday. Even though I’m subscribed I’m not getting notified all the time. I wonder why 🤷♀️ I was notified of this one. I like Del Shannon, so I’ll watch it later. ❤ Jodie 🇦🇺
