@@The_InfantMalePollockFrancis actually lol, I've sort of refined my position a bit. It's a very good base premise, but I agree the writing, the characterizations are pretty weak. There was def a chance with this set up to go deep like Lost or The Leftovers on character studies and their conflicts, but they've missed that opportunity. Of course they didn't have that budget, but you are right, that's just poor writing.

In my opinion the monster named Jasmine should not have been able to open the bathroom door to gain access to the rest of colony house. Base on the shows logic later displayed in the episode where Fatima puts back the stone and they hide behind the 2 doors. The monsters should not have been able to open the bathroom door which was clearly closed and at the time the stone was still on the wall.

73 is the roman catholic bible ... 66 is the protestant bible ... the variation is only on the old testament ... the new testament is always 27, since is 3 to the 3rd power , which is an analogy to the Trinity.

You are correct the regular Bible has 66 books the orthodox catholic bible has 73 books the New Testament in this book still has 27 books but the Old Testament has added books that makes their Old Testament have 46 books. Books that were added 100 years after the original Hebrew transcripts were written these books were called the apocrypha books or deuterocanonical books.

I love this show. Feels so much like lost. Tons of mysteries not too many answers yet. struggling to survive against whatever the place actually is. The only complaint I have is I hope they write some of the characters more likable. That’s one of losts best features. Sooo many amazing lovable awesome funny characters. From has jade and sometimes Boyd.

This seems to be based on the Native American Mythology of skin walkers...they are tricksters, and its possible they are in the Navajo underworld, and the only way out is to defeat the quest, and return to the middle world. this explains the trees, talisman, children, and monsters

It is ridiculously hard to watch. It’s streamed on one channel that I don’t have. I had to buy it on iTunes as there wasn’t a dvd release and then even getting information about it was difficult. Then I still couldn’t buy season 2 on iTunes for ages. I never see it mentioned or advertised. It’s a real bummer because I want more shows like this.

They don’t tell you outright why the crops are falling and why the trees are changing colors. We know that it hasn’t happened since Victor has lived in the town, so it hasn’t happened in 30 or 40 years. It could have something to do with the malevolent force in season 2 being unleashed or the storm the came on at the end of season 1 when Boyd and Sara tried to make it to the tower.

@@eficzek007 I think she has too much screen time freaking out and losing her grip on situations and it doesn't play to the strengths they're trying to portray her as having. I would like it if she were a lot less frantic. I like the character but I think it was poorly designed, in order for her to be the leader of colony house she needs to balance her no nonsense with seriousness and having her flail about takes away from that. I like the actress a lot. I just think that the directors of these episodes are not directing a lot of the talent very well, and we all know the writing leaves a lot to be desired.

the recap was fine, but if you want advice, stick to the facts and leave your opinions/remarks and interpretations out of it. The former is kinda distracting and just doesn't belong in a recap, but it's not that big of a deal. Interpretations are tricky though, they're worse because they lead to misunderstandings, but they're sometimes hard to spot, for example, I bet you didn't even realize that the diner being magically stocked with food was just an assumption/interpretation you made, but it is, they never say that and it doesn't seem to be true

It's implied that food restocks itself at colony house--peaches in particular--and that it was always consistent until it stopped spawning peaches for Vicky Briefcase. It could be the same for the diner.
