I think Fatima is "punishment" for them trying to find a way out. Thing's started going bad when the Matthew's and Jade arrived. That is because they started digging and searching for answers. Jade is very intelligent too. The more they search for answers the worse it gets. Before they arrived and after Boyd found the talismans, they were just living their lives! Nobody was really trying to find a way out. They had 93 days without any incidents. That was because they had accepted their fate and didn't try to fight back. The more they do the worse it gets.

Literally haven’t figured out one thing but we’re on season 3. Rest of the season has been leaked online and from the looks of it's very very frustrating with no answers and information whatsoever with cheap cliff hanger at the end. Season Finale Prediction: Fatima runs out into the woods and is never heard from again before the finale. Perhaps next episode. Ellis will lose track of her along with everyone else. In the finale at night Fatima returns (as one of the monsters). Ellis will confront her from the door/window. Either he opens the door and Fatima kills him, or it ends with Ellis crying alone. I predict Fatima will kill Ellis this season thereby breaking Boyd as promised. Someone pin this! lol I'm very confident in this. Oh by the way, I think we now know what exactly the monsters eat to survive. And I think Tilly knew that she'd be the conduit for Fatima's conversion. What she said to Ellis about not grieving someone until they're gone is why Ellis opens that door for Fatima. That root cellar is where Fatima transforms. Maybe either Ellis locks her in there killing her, or he lets her out and gets killed? Interesting.

I don’t think Tilly knew what was going on. She told Fatima to run, because she’s lost the plot to the extent that she’s murdered someone. Donna already wants her to move out of Colony House, as she’s a potential risk to others. Now, she 100% is a risk. Tilly was probably worried for Fatima as when the town finds out what she’s done, they’ll vote to punish Fatima. Previously, punishment (or justice), was locking the person “in the box” at night... knowing the monsters would probably kill them.

As much as I love this show, I have to agree with people who say that the pacing is so slow. They spent a big portion of the last episode showing Julie and Elgin bond and now she's spending time with Randall all of a sudden. All of those scenes with Tillie and Elgin and now she's gone. They're wasting a lot of time on unnecessary scenes.

I think the mushrooms reference is another hint that hallucinatigenics are at play. Remember how Miranda's visions started after she did acid? I think something is in the town's water. Jim drinks water and then Thomas calls. Elgin almost drowned and saw the Kimono ghost, then each time he drinks water, he sees her again.

To add to this LSD starts as the ergot fungus. i know there's been past historical events where entire towns were poisoned by ergot. 1951 France town had this issue resulting in a lot of hospitalizations, people put in asylums and 7 people died. Some also think the Salem witch trials are related to mass ergot poisoning as well. Im sure many many more if i looked into it.

I recall Tian Chen always pumping out that tea. Then Kenny tries to give tea to the new officer, but she refuses. She is the first character that we’ve seen go through the myriad of questions upon arriving at Hell Town. Kenny retorted that everyone asked the same questions, but her perspective is what the viewers have been screaming every time another batch of folks show up. These townsfolk look way too comfy to be dwelling with the possibility of death nightly. Boyd is keeping her gun/rounds, but is ok with just anyone grabbing the shotgun at Colony House. Yes, that’s Donna’s wheelhouse, but he put a man in the box.

There is not much Kristi can do! They don't exactly have all of the modern medical equipment and medicine they need. Just lije Boyd can't fix everything or control everything in town. I hate that people get blamed or scolded for not having all of the answers as if they're supposed to be able to perform miracles! People are always blaming Boyd for everything, they blame Kristi for things she can't fix, and it is so selfish. Nobody has the answers! Nobody can fix it! Nobody can perform miracles! They're in a place that is inexplicable! The only thing they can do is roll with the punches. Take it day by day and try to survive until they can hopefully get out.

So mostly 2 things: Fatima gives birth to Smiley (I had the feeling we were going to see Smiley again, but I didn’t expect it to be this season)! Time travel exist. An older Julie comes to warn her dad and the man in Yellow comes and kills Jim by ripping his throat. Who exactly is the man in Yellow? And I think the post mentioned that it was during the day, so the man in Yellow is not like the other monsters. I wasn’t expecting Jim to bite the dust so soon, but he could still appear as a ghost or something. Or scenes in the past now that time travel is introduced in the episode.

In this seventh episode, when Jade says there's no free will and that everyone is predestined to a fate, I finally noticed the obvious. This is a high-definition video game where some characters might actually be humans playing, while others are simply part of the game. From the beginning, From has shown that children are crucial to the plot. Victor, Ethan, the Boy in White, and the Anghkui children all play key roles. The similarities to a video game are many: you can’t leave the town, and there's no logical explanation for where the electricity, running water, food, and animals for slaughter come from. The trees shift locations, there are spots for teleportation, and when someone finds a "bonus," the storyline changes, like Boyd’s talismans. New game areas are discovered, characters seem to be repeating their routines constantly, and even the monsters follow specific routines. When certain characters die, others appear to take their place. There are hidden locations that can only be found by moving furniture or opening secret passageways.

That corpse in the cellar IS VICTOR. His clean clothes are just like jow Jasmine's clothes went from blood splattered to clean. What we see as Victor is the monster version of him- It's why he jeeps all that junk in his room and trailer- just like how the monsters keep stuff. It also explains why the monster in the tunnels tells Victor "If you keep coming down here, one of these days we're going to make you stay". It's also why Victor's mom's shawl was in the tunnels and why there's freshly picked yellow flowers on the table with Jasper. Those same flowers are around Colony House and Tilly has some in a little vase on the tray she brings to Fatima's room with food. This could be an "oh shit" moment coming up when Victor is in the basement with Jasper and Sarah. What if the dummy tells Victor the truth and he remembers everything and goes all monster on Sarah? I'm guessing Acosta being a complete psycho demands Fatima go in the Box for killing Tilly. And i kinda still think Tilly is a monster playing everyone.

Regarding the talisman, this is similar to what happened in Kingdom. At first, the zombies would attack at night and stop at dawn. Thus, the town people would barricade themselves in, and fight throughout the night and only have respite at dawn. However, by season 2, just when they thought the fight would end at dawn, it was revealed that daylight could not stop them, and, the fighting continued. It was later revealed that the zombies were actually aversive to water or running water. Cheers.

Man, what happened to From? Season 3 feels like it’s totally lost track of what made the show interesting. Now, it's mostly focused on personal drama that doesn’t go anywhere, and the main mystery feels like a distant memory. Every episode just piles on these irrelevant character issues, and we’re barely getting any answers. It’s like the writers are more invested in dragging out pointless subplots than giving us any real progression. At this rate, even if the monsters took over, at least we’d get a change in pace! Jade is oden like sacrificing for answers. Each is on the other side of a coin yin/yang. Jade sees the signs following his reincarnated spirit that sacrifices to get answers and create. Tabitha is on the other side trying to help the kids jades old versions of him sacrificed to get his knowledge. Those kids repeatedly are saying he used me he used me he used me. Interesting how the story is unfolding. I honestly, after everything wouldn't let anyone just wander off, everyone just exploring so much in pairs, can easily get lost like Boyd with the dog, it's so insane that everyone aren't all together, venturing out in bigger parties of people because God damn so much info takes so long to get to one another.

People are annoying 😂 everyone complains about never getting answers and in the same breath they complain about another episode with no monsters and no action! So do they want answers or action? 😂 this episode was providing some answers and some clues. We know Fatima is turning into something! I think she is turning into a monster. The monster Kristi autopsied had human anatomy and his organs were dried out. Fatima hasn't been able to eat or drink except for the rotten crops. She is drying out!! She is going through a metamorphosis!

It's annoying, if there isn't action/answers EVERY episode it's a problem. This is a mystery good ones take a while to crack. Just enjoy the ride OR don't watch. I didn't care for this episode but it wasn't because of the lack of answers.

I don't need answers, in fact I would prefer not to. However, I need monsters and suspense, and lot of it. Just an example, like when Julie and Ethan are with the animals, and Jim (after the phone rings) comes to get them inside. It would have been so cool if in the background, we see two monsters slowly walking towards them, across the field. Just little things like that would have upped up the game a bit. But what do I know, I'm an old granny, lol.

The knock when Elgin turned away and almost didn't find the room proved alot imo. He didn't find it and was going to leave, so the town made the knock so he'd find it. There was no one in the room. So we basically have confirmation that the town or some entity is intentionally manipulating individuals. We just don't know if it's the town by itself or entities within the town and if there is one or two.

i noticed 2 things .. jasper moved when victor was trying to make him talk jaspers hand was on the arm chair bt when victors stand sup to open the door and came back jasper was sitting with both hands on his side....secondly the flowers tilly was holding in the kitchen talking to ellis are the same type with the ones in the caves on the table that was set by the monsters or jasper when victor came to take jasper... not sure if the flowers mean anything

Okay everyone, so I know what this is all about. Basically, they are all in a place where the air is intoxicated with hallucinogenic drugs of some sort. This is part of an experiment to see how humans cope with this and how it affects them etc. I know this because its linked to what Victor's father said early on in Series 3 about hallucinogenic drugs and Victor's father is the one behind this all. So i have a crazy end-game theory. From town was created centuries ago for a testing ground to master reincarnation. The crows and dogs might be reincarnated people. Tillie telling fatima to run wasn't because of the people being angry but because her husband, the man in yellow who runs the town, is about to be pissed. Tillie probably joined the town under her own free will against her husband's demands. Her husband is probably trying to save her life from cancer with helping out with these life transfer experiments. It's probably why she danced in the town in the rain because she used to monitor the town with her husband for so long now shes apart of it. The from town goes so far back that religion is aware of it. That's why the priest in Maine knew about Tabithas sons gender without her telling him a name or gender. Boyd is a battery for hope, and the monsters feed on hope. If boyd dies, then the rest die. It would be too easy to if boyd dies. The only way to reincarnate is if one dies with enough hope to look forward to the next life but enough fear to not want to die so its difficultto get it right. Thats why the monsters exist, and if the monsters get out of hand, there are stronger monsters to put them in check. The only ones who came close to reincarnating perfectly were Tabitha and Miranda, hence the dejavu. It's a crack pot theory, and i would have to do way more connections to make it work, but it would make for a cool original idea for a big final reveal. Btw the place would be considered supernatural and only ran by humans to maintain it. Think of cabin in the woods, but deeper

My theory: when Victor was a kid they had talismans, he just doesn't remember. They've hinted that Christopher is the reason everyone died. I think he stole all the talismans and hid them in that tree Boyd later finds them in. I think the town people put Christopher in that cellar to make him give up where he hid them and that's why Victor and his Mom were there. I also think that's why his Mom was so urgent to help those kids and get home, because they weren't protected at night anymore. I also think maybe the new cop will do something stupid with the talismans and it will spark a memory with Victor.

And now that s3 e7 is over, I think they have provided us with more answers than we are aware. The big question I think they've answered is 'What is actually happening' and the answer is; 'Just as with LOST ... we are just winging it, we don't know' I genuinely think that they don't have any answers. I think ethan is supposed to be the next sacrifice. Tabitha is being centered as a very important character. Ethan is close to the age of the other children who were sacrificed. I know fatima is losing herself but we saw that when her and ellis were in the post office? (I think) when she was screaming at the monsters. Ethan hasnt been injured at all. The BiW told sarah to kill him EARLY. tabitha and her family were brought back here to sacrifice ethan. I think thats why "tommy" is contacting them.

Im really hoping there’s a good reason as to why the writers are making the character’s dialogue so meaningless and non constructive. Like why is Jim doubting Tabitha’s dreams? How is there any room for doubt and disbelief when you’re in such a place! Why aren’t they asking Fatima more about her cravings, and why she can actually digest rotten food that should kill her!? Why is Henry doubting that Jasper can talk when there’s so much magic around? Why are they suddenly making Boyd’s character so irrational and insufferable? He was the only well rounded and rational leader and now suddenly he’s acting like a complete asshole who can barely hold his temper, it’s like the writers decided to suddenly give Randal a character arc and say let’s make Boyd the worst, weird choice. I really hope it lends to the plot because it’s just annoying writing at this point, They’re just filling in episodes with nonsense and soap opera dialogue. Also why did Elgin go to that room alone, why doesn’t Fatima just eat the damn rotten food before she starves, why don’t Randall, Julie, and the other girl get together to talk about what happened, why don’t they let the new people ask as many questions as possible, and for goodness sake why did Tabitha and jade take Ethan to the site so close to nightfall!? This show is killing me loll

Maybe all of the people that are in the town had a dream or a vision from that place before arriving there. Maybe they had a dream of a specific part of the place that they haven't seen still. Tabitha remembered her dream after she saw the drawing of the doll figures but before that she didn't remember her dream of the red stones. Tabitha had a dream about the place also Abby had a dream Tilly saw the place in tarot cards Miranda had visions of the whole place while being in the real world. Fatima isn't pregnant she did the same thing Sarah did in season one Sarah sliced the throat of her brother just like Fatima stabbed Tilly and Fatima sees her stomach have weird shape just like Sarah saw the writing in her hand saying "kill the boy" so she's turning into Sarah 2.0. I think Acosta is gonna die maybe in these last 3 episodes maybe in the next season not because of spoilers or rumors because she seems like someone stupid enough to make a dumb move and die cause you know "a young female cop" not a lot of experience especially with a gun she shot Nicky through the window a rookie mistake🤷

From (season 3) has completely lost its spark. It’s sad to see such a promising show reduced to soap-opera level drama without any meaningful progress. The main storyline feels like it's stuck in place, every episode feels like a rerun with the same recycled drama over and over again. The writers seem to have no idea where they’re headed, they've cluttered the show with so many unnecessary subplots that add nothing meaningful and only distract from what actually matters. At this point, I almost wish the monsters would just take everyone because the show has made every character so unlikable and dull!! The constant detours and repetitive drama are making it impossible to stay engaged. It’s super disappointing to see a show with so much initial promise get buried under pointless side stories and a lack of direction.

Excellent analysis! I think that Victor’s mom is the big bad entity. She was obsessed with finding it, and she couldn’t stop painting it. Victor remembers Christopher arguing with a puppet, but what if that memory is incorrect (like many of his memories). What if it was really his mother that was fighting with Christopher? What if Victor overheard her say something so awful that he decided to replace her in that memory with the puppet? Maybe she was telling Christopher about her plans to kill everyone in town! 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

How does a show with only 10 episode seasons of only 45 minute episodes have so much FILLER?! The first few episodes of S3 were must watch TV and now I don't even give a fuck about the show anymore.

Supposedly, the last 3 episodes are going to provide a bunch of answers and progression of the plot. God I hope so cuz damn, this season has been dragging worse than 1 & 2. It’s really annoying to see even minor things get the tiniest of progress each week and then mostly go nowhere. The bile bullet was a prime example. The doll is another one. How long have we been waiting for that damn thing to talk? This week all we saw was Victor getting mad at it. Riveting!

I mean if she's early first trimester they might not be able to see any baby without a transvaginal probe IF she's pregnant. Also it could be an ectopic pregnancy which would mean they'd need to check her whole abdomen BUT if it was the baby would likely kill her when it grows too large because I don't see Kristy or Marielle preforming a successful exploratory abortion. On a side note did Elgin get a premonition about Tillie before she died because the clothes on that dead body looked a lot like what she was wearing when she died. The thing that confused me was him asking the creature something like is this where it's going to happen? I thought he meant the person dying but Tillie dies in the greenhouse so could he mean is this where Fatima is going to turn into a monster?

There is a really good show in here somewhere, and I'm still watching. But I'm tired of every episode throwing up 5 or more questions with no answers. I can't keep track of them and it's just confusing. Voices on phones, visions, Fatima, trees, bottles and numbers, Elgin, kimono lady, symbols, corpses, comas, moving trees, missing hotels, saving children, dummies - and that's just scratching the surface. I feel that this show will either be cancelled and leave it all hanging, or it will give one giant exposition dump that may or may not help us understand what is going on. Exactly what are the showrunners doing here?

@@Father_Daniel Not really. Tilly knew that Fatima would become an outcast the moment it became public that she murdered someone hence she must have asked her to run. Remember the conversation that Donna had with Boyd? It was building up to this. Donna had already withdrawn her support.
