Heres a comment someone else posted that ive expanded on and i fully believe it was the core inspirstions for the shows concept "It's Carcosa, more closely, the Dreamlands from Lovecraft and Eldrich lore. Symbol is that of Atlach Nacha, evil spider god that links dimensions. The walkers are ghouls, and Hastur is the big bad controlling the entire realm." Hastur per the original writings was know as the king in yellow. We see so many uses of the color yellow in the show. Even certain scenes filmed with a yellow filter. We see a painting of a man in a yellow suit in the basement. Atlach nacha was a spider god that "resides in a cave system and it spins a great web, forming a great bridge between the Dreamlands and the waking world."

From was written from the prospective of a young person living in a town in fear of never leaving. The town is somewhere in the midwest that is dying from no new business, the average town that in America that never saw any growth. The writer basically took that experience and made it supernatural. Ive never seen the show and i can tell just by looking at the previews ,what its about.

Hecate also reigns over liminal spaces. The talisman from the show only works on liminal spaces and every character is going through a liminal space in their lives when they arrive in fromville. Maybe you are on to something.

I’m really hoping it’s not what I’m think for the ending I got a strong feeling this like stimulation where the get tested because you remember when Jim and Donna was about to leave guy or whatever answered it warned him about his wife and then how would someone know that if someone wasn’t watching them

Victor may have the answers we seek. I am curious as to why there are no psychiatrists or therapists in Fromland. It appears that they have attracted individuals from all socioeconomic backgrounds and people who are not living up to their potential.

yea lost and from a=how do explain boyd aslo begin Michelle? this show has people who worked on lost thats why it feels like lost doesnt mean they are connected you make way to many leaps in logic

@DermotBrophy thank you for your comment I am just pointing out the similarities that I see and many see similarities that I didn't all I bring to the table is the point Elosie said in lost thay many places like the island exist what if From is another place like it. From is a show that has no true logic, I am just pointing out the parallels I believe to exist. Feel free to share your theories and thoughts. Yes, the actor is the same, but the person is not, and nothing is off the table when it comes to this show.
