I do feel some guilt that our zone has such a long growing season. Knowing that many others are still too cold to plant, makes me appropriate my location. The down side to this is that I don't have a concidersble amount of down time to plan for the growing season. Also, mid-February is our typical last frost. This was a milder winter for us than usual. Thanks for watching

It was so much fun planting the seeds 😇🌱🎉 Yes I planted the carrots on mine side but I don’t remember how much I got reaching the middle of the plant bed. crazy how it rained so fast lol. I see my beanie I left on the chair lol 😂 super epicawesome video & thank you for inviting me super epicawesome fun day 🌱 🪴. Hi Kristina, I use these beds too (in NZ down under). I have found the soil settles quite a lot so filling them to the top when starting would be useful. Hope it all grows well.

Good to know. I will plan to top off at season end. Thank you! I expect the leaves at the bottom will be responsible for about 4 inches of settling down.

A great variety of seeds! Looks like you are going to need some more raised beds! We have a saying her in the UK that parsley seeds have to go to hell and back seven times before they germinate. I've never planted any as must be a 'Devil' of a job waiting for them to produce anything. So I will be watching avidly, as ever, to see how fast yours appear. Some of our daffodils are budding, so spring on its way!

Thank you for pointing this out. I just spent the last 20 minutes learning about American pronunciation. More specifically, the word HERB. I’ll some of what I learned. “HERB” comes from the Latin word “herba”. Old French “urbe”. later in the 1800’s “h” was added back into “herbe”. Americans already split from Europe at that point. Maybe we didn't get the memo or didn't care to follow. Honestly, I’m not sure that I even noticed that It is pronounced differently elsewhere. Now I'm curious what the English language rule is for this silent h.

@@Lavender_May_American_Rooted Woah. Thanks for the info. I hadn't considered there might be a reason. Is there a reason why Americans can't pronounce parmesan too?
