Hi Kristina, its Grover. After watching this 3X , I actually listened to what you were saying and it was very interesting and informative. Ona is the luckiest guy in the central valley to have such a hard working, smart, beautiful, yet humble woman to share his life.

It’s a long video to watch 3x lol. I’m glad you did. If you haven’t made it to the “BEST OF” comment collective, you did right now. That’s one of the nicest comments. Thank you!

My goodness, the tray that just keeps giving! Those roots were amazing. The ones that you're giving your friend will keep her busy too. I'd never have thought to add the perlite to the soil, Only that which comes out of my trays and pots hanging onto the root system. I'll have to give that a go, especially in the gardens I tend with heavier soil!

Tks for sharing. Your so lucky to have a growing season in December. Here in Michigan we have to wait until the snow and frost has gone. Is this one type of plant? Or will you have different colors growing? When will these mature?
@Lavender_May_American_Rooted
@Lavender_May_American_Rooted Жыл бұрын
Each plant will produce a specific color. There are a few different varieties and colors here. Ranunculus take as little as 7 weeks to mature but average 12 weeks for me. However, I typically plant these in october. It’ll be interesting to see when they flower because of my late planting. They actually love temps in the 60’s. Which is why I plant in the fall/winter here. They will stop producing and die off when we get in the 80’s by May. Probably around the time your ground is ready to plant.

thanks Gabe! maybe we can get out to the farm tomorrow. last time I went was with you….i think. we got a good amount of rain that I shouldn’t need to water. but I’m becoming stressed that maybe somethings happened out there. like maybe turkeys ate all my plants.

What can I plant to keep spiders in fire ants out of my yard I live in an area where I have lots of fire ants in the entire neighborhood and lots of spiders and I'm wondering what I can do to keep them out of my yard???
@Lavender_May_American_Rooted

I have a strong dislike to spider near me or looking at me but I need to them in the garden to help keep the bad bug population low. They eat the bad bug. So I keep them around. fire ants….let me know when you find out. we have them bad in the summer. They're evil creatures.

perlite. it’s a type of volcanic rock. it’s weighs nearly nothing. It’s the white pieces you see in bag potting soil. It hold moisture very well. I use it instead of soil when I pre sprout the corm because its’s nice and fluffy. I also kill two birds with one stone because Adding it to the holes will help my sandy soil hold moisture. it also helps the soil to be light and fluffy and not become compacted.
