I remember when i was 19, I wasn’t even allowed to get my eyebrows done or arms waxed, a lot of parents deny basic grooming to daughters. I’m glad it’s not the case now. I was v embarrassed and timid socially because of those insecurities, i was also forced to have a boycut and not allowed to speak with adults in the room, seeing confident young girls makes me so happy for them at the same time i want to cry for my past self

Dont compare yourself to beautiful people. On tv. Rememeber most beauty peagant / celebrity are rigged. And corrupt. A ukraine won miss japan turn out the winner boyfriend was the judge. Most celebrity are hiding thier true mask. They accept bribe drink , smoke , live a corrupt life. Most celebrity committ suicide becos of media pressure the real hero are our army / jawan / they sacrificed thier live to protect ours. We are able to sleep and eat in peace thanks to them.

People here commenting about external beauty and all . Bro this isnt only about physical beauty even i wasnt supporting her from the start , Yes she is beautiful with her golden skin but this isnt what which is extreemely needed in order to win here u have to have a perfect posture , perfect mannerisms , perfect speech , perfect answers and much more that we cant even easily point it out ( unless u are one of their judges) if only external beauty, skin colour mattered then they will be sending 10 - 15 people lol and all white ( Americans, british and other fair complexion people) will win all the time lol. Instead of tarnishing smones hardwork u should be proud that this generation and all the people are now accepting change and things arent always based on fair complexions , more pointy noses , etc. How will u feel if u worked hard on ur entire personality and thru ur whole teenage and now all u can recieve is the comment “ u arent good enough , u arent all that “ bro nobody is perfect perfection is all about our eyes but u should be really proud that one from india is representing our country in other peoples country between all those strangers . Same goes for yall even if yall worked hard there will always be people who will find less in you , but dont be the one who makes other people feel miserable about themselves .

Im not saying she doesnt deserve it...but this year miss universe was rigged and dommed at all levels from hosting to organising, unnecessary subtitles,broken crown, everything was poorly organised... deserving candidate didnt even qualify the round,the judges couldnt talk properly and they had become judge...it felt as if everything was already decided....miss diva was better....so many deserving candidates lost and it was so embarassing to watch the show....cringest...why urwashi already worn miss universe crown....it felt like a kid was given the responsibility to organize....
