I've never experienced a more beautiful community in my life where I learned how to love unconditionally. I love you all so much. Luca, that was astounding. Dennis

I love the idea of tiny houses. In fact, we ought to doing this across the country for more people, homeless and others who simply are tired of paying exorbitant amounts of money to rent/buy homes.

Love this! Power to the People! Everytown with internally displaced refugees needs to have a geographically sustainable model like this. I'm spreading the word. Especially in my own Neighborhood. If we want something Different, we've got to Do something Different!

He really showed me a new perspective. Wow! I guess to have good communication you have to put yourself in the other person's shoes. Too bad the politicians don't get that.

Yes. The experience transformed me. I was one of the people most annoyed by the "invasion" of the homeless. Listening to their stories and seeing their pain opened my mind. They went from being "the homeless" to being my friends.

tiny house villages is the perfect solution our homeless problem, it contains them, so they're not wandering the streets and vandalizing businesses, working with a social worker teaches them responsibility and helps them enter the work place and reintegrate back into society, for the mentally ill, this is just the humane thing to do for our citizens

Wow, I love all these Ted Talks especially this one about the Homeless! WE ALL NEED TO DO MORE FOR THE HOMELESS BCUZ, I HATE SEEING PEOPLE IN ALL THOSE NASTY HOME-MADE LIVING PLACES! I THINK we need to do more tiny houses everywhere just like a lot of people said down below in the comments! I have Section 8 Housing now but, I want to help in some way to help fight homelessness! I would love to have a tiny house someday but, I feel the homeless people need a decent place to live! I wish I had a lot of money to give out but, I don't at this time! BK Hugs n Prayers TO All!

This tiny house village is in MY end of Madison. They are a success. There are other housing first project that are having difficulties.... Self management vs outsiders owning and "managing" properties. People need self investment, self direction.

Actually, this is so sad how homeless people get stuck in horrific conditions , made even worse by the city laws, as if human lives are worth nothing in themselves alone. It brought tears to my eyes....

SO TRUE: "ownership without control is a contradiction"!!! Freedom under the rules of city regime is no different than freedom inside prison walls. Who wants that kind of freedom? I'd rather be a prisoner of the free unrestricted land than a free man restricted by the city regime.......

Problem with USA; Ongoing Workforce discriminations; I've been searching for a job since 2008 and I am still unemployed, even returned back to an education center to gain new skills and that didn't help either. The INSIDE FOLD are the number one reason why this nation is divided and why there are millions kept unemployed. (they always find an excuse or complaint toward whom they have is not acceptable...)

I am so impressed with your grass roots approach and dedication to this critical need. Do you have contact information or perhaps a web site that people can access to learn more about your efforts? Thank you and be well.

HOUSING FOR HOMELESS IS TRULY A BLESSING!! However, a bathroom is a top priority for anyone! Having to go outside your house at night and in all kinds of weather is not the answer. For men perhaps, but certainly a not for women.
@lindalai90925 жыл бұрын
There are over 300 scriptures in the Bible saying that we are supposed to feed the hungry, help the poor etc. Christ taught unconditional love.

I have been doing nothing, but studying the PSYCHOLOGIES of the INSIDE FOLD and there are a tons of wrongs and selfishness in which they are as a whole (but small numbered group that seemingly have all things in common; not rejected or abased or nayed or outed or descended) the works of their MOJO is what should be told in plain English in order to reveal why there are many homeless and jobless people in this nation. Their mojo makes themselves into a very Narcisstic Deities that believe they are above all others and conduct themselves accordingly by the show and action of DEPRAVITY toward many less fortunate human beings.

I would rather have tiny houses than tent's and homeless people all over the streets and in communities it's sad to think any person will judge someone who is down and out because of being homeless I wish I had the money and funds to build these tiny houses without it causing me to become homeless I'm one of the luckier ones to be able to say I have a home whether it's a shack or not it's still my castle

Sleeping is a crime, existing on earth without paying anything to anyone is a crime, being alive on the land of the free is a crime - wow! Sounds like a dictatorial regime to me, in which one's existence alone is equated to crime unless you pay your way out of this condition. What happened to the basic human rights????? Is not one's existence with its biological needs (to breathe, eat, sleep, take shower, go bathroom, stay warm) a basic human right? I am appalled at the social conditions of the jobless people!!! Even city pegions have more rights than homeless people. This scares me so much!!! I don't see this country as free and as democratic as it wants to be considered. Sorry, but the sad truth is that the US justice is on the side money and not people.
