I don't agree with the conclusion "...i should have stayed in Pattaya by myself". Actually you could have probably have stayed there with a week to week or month to month "company" at home for the even less than those initian 30K. As for "i was having the feeling i was there in holiday and not living there", i would have said, that moving out from "near the beach" so probably in the middle of the chaos, and go even just over to the dark side (the part behind Sukumwit/ Rail line) would have changed your feeling quickly and still have everything on the palm of your hands. And the most important lesson to learn before going to thailand (even as tourist) is learn to say "NO" even more if you want to live there.

Guys, the mistake made by fools like this is to think you can have a real relationship with a Thai woman as in having a gf or wife. You cannot do that as you will just be used as an ATM by the family even if the girl isn’t a bar girl. Instead you can have short term fun with a bar girl or rent a girl for $200+ dollars a month, such as a college girl. When her course is finished, change girl. This way you cut out her family and their demands because the girl has no leverage over you. She is just a rental. If you treat this women like commodities you buy, like a pizza , you will be fine. If you bring foolishness such as love into it you will come unstuck. These women will never love you, no matter what you do and never forget that
@robertmaloney22559 сағат бұрын
Exactly, they don't know how to love
@davidhaylett18109 сағат бұрын
@ Yes exactly, women don’t love in the modern world, they just love your money, your possessions, and what you can provide. So there is no point in locking yourself into a relationship as it’s of no benefit to a man. You can get all the benefits from a live in rental girl, and avoid the vast majority of the negativity that a woman brings
@robertmaloney22559 сағат бұрын

I think with all these British guys flinging money around in a much less afluent economy that there is a degree of "Big Man Syndrome" going on here. Who wouldn't love all the attention, the wide-open eyes when the money comes out, and the implied feeling of a high rank? It becomes a character flaw when the guy wants to keep appearances going even as the money has run out. And, of course, these guys knew their wealth was limited the whole time. But I guess the excitement of looking important is so strong these blokes will keep spending their savings until the whole sordid exercise inevitably collapses under its own inherently dishonest weight.
