It's almost inconceivable to think that a political candidate could speak this way only 50 years ago. Will America ever return to a time of class truth, and dignity in politics like Jimmy Carter displayed?

I remember the October 1980 debate with Ronald Reagan in Cleveland on the eve of the election when he said that he discussed with Amy (his 12-year-old daughter) about the threat of nuclear war was. This was felt to be ridiculous and ultimately he lost the debate badly and then the election.

To be fair Iran was doomed after Ike ( who I do like) installed the Shah. As for Panamá others done worse in Latin America all those dictators. But like Hoover by the early 1950s Carter has rebuilt himself as an elder statesmen. But I agree not a good President.

Just to put it cleared for u sis Carter liberated USA from the responsibility of making peace in the Eastern world because he did achieved Camp David and made it a reality Camp David is not only a treaty between Egypt and Israel only nor a treaty between the Arabian and Islamic worlds and Israel It is a treaty for the best interest of USA also which let the deep state who r ruling u right now not to play with fire as they did with Japan or even killing presidents like Kennedy or patriot people as Luther King U don't realy know what achievement Carter made for USA because it is deep to understand it
