In order to live free and happily you must sacrifice boredom. It is not always an easy sacrifice.

In rivers, the water that you touch is the last of what has passed and the first of that which comes; so with present time.

Look forward to spring as a time when you can start to see what nature has to offer once again.

President Carter was remarkably intelligent, honest, hardworking. He was brought down by the Iranian Revolution and its consequences. I’m not sure he could have prevented such revolution to succeed.

The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. The hard part is doing it.

It is more important to know where you are going than to get there quickly. Do not mistake activity for achievement.

The trouble with most people is that they think with their hopes or fears or wishes rather than with their minds.

Typical of backward countries - blaming world powers for their OWN errors. As for Carter - Heaven is waiting for him for realizing the teachings of Jesus Christ.

I agree. This traitor ruined Iran by supporting the lunatic clerics who control Iran and terrorize the Middle East since 1979. Just think before Carter Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq were stable and prospering countries.

Jimmy Carter did a minimal amount of damage to the Middle East compared to every other US President since 1945. Unlike many US presidents, Carter started no wars there; he negotiated a successful treaty with Egypt and Israel, etc. Carter might be the only president since Truman who is not a war criminal.
