I lost my beloved daughter through a freak accident almost 5 years ago. Not long after I lost my dad and lost dad not long after my mother. I'm 70 now and the tears still come sometimes.

I found out about Serge Gainsbourg while I was in France in 91 when his death made headlines, major media coverage and of course found out about Jane Birken, Romie Sneider as well. I knew those songs, but didn't make the connection. What a life. It's great to see that her death and life was covered in America. Iconic songs, iconic family. I didn't know about her daughter. Rest in peace.

Ive been a huge fan of Jane since I was in my tweens I always admired her bubbly and outgoing personality. It really breaks my heart that she felt that she lost her confidence after her daughter passed. Even her zodiac sign excudes a natural confidence from another pair of lenses. It really shows that the pain of losing a child forever sticks with you. I can’t even imagine the whole world knowing about it and consistently asking questions regarding such an emotional wound. R.I.P to Jane. She was a very humble woman from what we can see I wish I was able to see her live at least once. My forever icon, fly high 🤍🕊️
