I personally brute force logic gates and logic gate type things by making multiple if statements output 1 or 0, feeding them into a sum component, which feeds into a maths evaluator, which then feeds into a maths evaluator that checks if the number is above or below a certain point. If it is, it lets something through, else lets another thing through.

I really look forward to seeing what nonsense you do with GBS components. Just be careful not to cause your game to lag out or stutter with them XD. We've had one of those already in the tourney scene that resulted in a DQ, and several of us were able to replicate it with even fairly limited GBS heavy boards.

I just took a super quick look, and there is a pin to stop the GBS from sending signals (and potentially from making any further calculations) so there's hope even for GBS-heavy builds.

One great application for GBS would be for decoration purposes. Lights for instance. Imagine your ship's lights dimming and blinking as your ship loses power / health

@@OhmIsFutile Aye, we've been testing with clocked GBSs, and so far they seem to be an option if you don't mind a little bit of lag in their response times.

@@OhmIsFutile It was mentioned, I think after the initial built-in shell talk and after the GBS so I only heard it after commenting, quite a shame though, for me makes that feature quite pointless since only use I can find for it is giving compact craft more shell verity for different situations, guess I can make my tanks 5 blocks more compact now, I guess that is something :v
