Not sure about Victor's age but the actor that's coming in this season is likely Victor's father...he's 72, despite looking "so young".

Ok, so here's my take: Fromville has been there for a long time, and it goes in cycles. People in town survive, barely hanging on, crops fail, and they eventually turn to cannibalism to stay alive, but doing that makes them the monsters. The more people they kill and eat, the more they turn. That's why the monsters look human but from different time periods, it's because they are. This was a known cycle until the massacre left child Victor the only survivor. He may or may not know this, he's very inconsistent with the knowledge he passes on.

The monsters don't kill because of hunger they kill for fun. If hunger were the case, they would've eaten the victims whole instead of gutting them and leaving 90% of the body there (All victims were still intact, just gutted or mutilated). Secondly, they would've starved to death for not eating for 3 whole months. Lastly, all the monsters are from the same period (1950s).

This is a tight ass theory. I think the problem with from is everyone expects some major mystical reveals, so far everything has been easily explainable. This theory fits nicely with that. If we see someone like Randall do this it would be awesome and good confirmation

I’m going to stick my theory that the figures we see are basically really “scarecrows” and are meant to protect from the crows in the town /fallen tree. Somehow I think they will tie into being another kind of talisman and the monsters maybe being avatars for the crows at night then returning to birds during the day. Also crows are known to mimic human voices and that’s what they attempt to do like with the lil girl that died in ep 1 and the familiarity with the boy monster and Julie. They also like gather trinkets when captive which the monsters do as seen in the tunnels. I could point out more similarities but I need to compile a list

Hey Victor also has drawings of Tillie and the 4 children she mentioned she had to Fatima (4 children and 7 grandchildren, broken radio in rv was set to 47). It is weird because Victor hadn't met Tillie and his first encounter with anyone from the bus was with Elgin.

Regarding why Ethan may have opened the door, I think the vulnerability after "losing" his mom to his knowledge will cloud his judgement. Grandma may have had him convinced briefly that she came back despite him being a smart character.

Just adding that I've noticed some glitches in filming the show. Mostly to do with the diner. It seems they change out diners. Like most of the time it has the booths. But in the episode where Boyd went in to talk to Mrs Lou. The booths are missing. So it could just be a filming thing.

If the first massacre happened during an eclipse, Victor would have only been a child, he wouldn't be able to necessarily predict another eclipse happening. He might not even know the word Eclipse.

The guy in the picture in the red jacket is not Victor. It's in fact Henry, Victor's brother. The picture shows them (Eloise and Henry) as teens rather than being kids. It means that Henry was also in the From-town and he was able to scape like his sister did when they were kids.

Seems like the writers in this show have it in for poor Kenny! He loses his father, his girlfriend, and possibly his mother. Poor guy!! It was really weird that Tabitha, Victor and Boyd were stuck in Victor's truck, right after big events happened, and didn't say anything to each other! Ridiculous! It was really annoying when Martin was trying to tell Boyd something about the Town, and Boyd interrupted him and changed the subject! Especially because Boyd and Sara were supposed to be looking for answers...lol! I agree with your theory about the female scream. Another channel thought it was Kelly, as you said, but it's obviously not. I thought Jade was hallucinating the cannibal?

I love theories, especially when backed up by clear evidence. Unfortunately, most theories ignore evidence of the contrary. The "tower" in the background of the village looks like a tall tree to me. The "village" outside the lighthouse looks like its too close to the steep rock to be flat ground. Victor and Eloise were about 10 when their mother disappeared. She was in her early 30's, presumably. Victor was around 10 when his mother disappeared, so around 50 after 40 years in Fromville. That would make his dad about 70, which lines up with the actor's age in the trailer. The drawings in the basement were likely done by Eloise or Eloise and Victor's mother. Tabitha is almost certainly Eloise, having made Jim a bracelet identical to her mother's. Plus, Tabitha's reflection in the glass after waking in the hospital is also a different woman, lighter skin and hair, different nose and jawline. The colonial guy has one eye that's damaged and is drinking out of a skull. Nothing that would suggest cannibalism. Seems more evident of a ritual. Not saying it's not cannibalism, but I don't see any real evidence of it. One of Victor's drawings is of a building on fire, surrounded by multiple onlookers. Many of his pictures have been of events yet to happen.

8:21 In this clip, it looks as if Boyd’s arms are bound behind his back. To me, he doesn’t seem to be making eye contact with the person he’s trying to comfort or reassure. Perhaps he’s tied to something that prevents him from seeing her-or intervening while she suffers. Then again, if it is indeed the audio from Kelly’s death, he may be experiencing some kind of hallucination. Either way, my favorite character is going to have another rough season. 😔

I haven't heard anyone mention the Torch - an item that Boyd brought from the other place(plane?)and that he could later use as a "key" to get back. Could it be used to explore that place more, does it work at Other ruins, does any item brought from there get powers of sorts? Is that possibly how the talismans got there powers? I brought up last season that Victor is the villain in the show. In the first episode of season two, Victor and Tabatha are hiding in a box truck filled with furniture that belonged to Victor’s mother. I think Victor’s mother was leaving his father, which upset him, leading him to imagine this fictional town.
