From the farm to the cup, Ugandan-Chinese teenager takes her love for coffee beyond Africa

While others have adopted it though still on medium scale; in some parts of Uganda, it is just being introduced.
However, the Central part of the Country is known for large scale Arabica coffee production making it Uganda’s leading foreign exchange earner.
Its value has inspired young and upcoming farmers including Zhong Manke who has taken it a notch higher from growing it in Uganda to marketing it outside the Country.

Europe drinks a lot of Arabica bean which needs certain conditions like highland ground. Uganda already grows Robusta for a high proportion of European consumption, but it is the availablity of the correct farmland.
