I like the fact they made the blade to be a real cutter, vs a near quarter inch chunk of metal. That edge looks beautiful on that blade. Good job! Some fella is truly Blessed to have a wife like "Mary".

Love this knife. I recently lost my Cruwear sprint run Millie and I'm gutted. Going to bite the bullet and pick up a Ti - just can't be without one in my pocket. Whoever found that knife had one happy day!

Can you make a video showing how you get that mirror edge? It really adds to the aesthetic of the knife. Gorgeous work.

If I loosen the pivot on my TI MILLI. there is still no blade play side to side. At all. You can even move the pivot pin up and down and the blade is still perfectly centered. What dose that tell me. That those TI handle scales are perfectly straight. And flat. Perfect. I'm really loving the one I got. Great video rob. Thanks.

I saw this video the other day. I watched it a few times...... So I had to order my own Spyderco Military Titanium. Should be here Saturday. Love the channel. Definitely one of my favorites.

An excellent review Rob, as per your norm... And, an even better back story - Nicely done "Mary", I'm sure your husband will love the thoughtful gift! Thanks Rob, for displaying such a good example of grace and generosity in blessing Mary and Joseph this way. What a knife too, might have to add it to my Christmas list this year! :)

I had said to myself not to buy another (killer) knife for a while, but I forgot I did not have a mili in my collection. Contented myself with the para 2 in that style, and what a wonderfull tool that is. After seeing this video and remembering what a lovely sweeping blade this knife has and my new found fondness for ti handles and frame locks( new sebenza started that) I think this knife will be on my hit list for 2015 along with the 940 and probably a dozen more before the first swallows arrive back, the craziness of knife collection guys,another good pick from the sharpening bench Rob, class knife at good selling point.
Sweet knife. I'd have it tapped tip up and then send it to toadstkr to have a bunch of different back spacers made to suit my mood, lol. Happy holidays to you and your family. Thanks for another great year of reviews and knowledge. It is much appreciated!

When you first said this was a Christmas present I thought you ruined the surprise. Then the thought crept into my mind; could my wife have put this gift together for me? I'm sure every guy watching this video thought that, and can only hope. What a great teaser for the lucky one of us that will actually receive this. Unfortunately I don't have the highest hopes that this knife will be under my tree. Still love my lady though

If you carry a righty Military in the left hand, does the pocket clip get in the way of a good grip?
@joshvaldez92349 жыл бұрын
I have been carrying a TI milli lately. But I put a C.P.M Cruwear blade in the one I have. It's one sweet knife. I do believe I've seen left handed Millis somewhere. I think they make them rob. Keep your eye out for one.

Josh Valdez They have made the lefty Millie in G10/S30V for years, but announced plans earlier this year to discontinue production. Bummer... but I have one ;)

I've just stumbled onto this video and I really appreciate the review. I really like to look of this knife, and love my PM 2 to death, but I don't feel it's worth the price tag. For $30 less you cold get the monster K-2 in CPM-10V which just has larger dimensions all around. To be honest, I'm not sure why this knife is so expensive at all.

Great video as always. I keep trying to like Spyderco's... but I just cant do it. Dont get me wrong, Im not knocking quality or anything like that. I just think they are ugly. I also am not happy about then shipping much of their production overseas. Anyway, thanks for another good one. God Bless. Hebrews 4 : 12

RevHiker Amen! I love Spyderco, but it took me years to warm up to their quirky shape. I was also a bit skeptical about their Taiwan made knives at first, but now it's clear that they rival or even eclipse the Golden, CO knives. I'm OK with Japanese and Taiwanese knives, because the knife making craft is rich in both countries, and because they're free market economies -- no different than a German knife in my mind. Chinese made knives are a whole different story though... I don't buy them.
@RevHiker9 жыл бұрын
TheApostleP I know China is much different than Taiwan and Japan, and agree on those points. For me though, the main issue is aesthetics. I prefer the looks (and manufacturing practices) of Benchmade. I will have to own a Spyderco one day, just to say that I have one. It will be american made, and look like every other spyderco, and maybe I'll warm up to the looks. Or, I'll sell it haha

Thanks for the review. I own the same knife and have used mine for 2 years. I own many other knives, incl. PM2, Kershaws, etc. I don't like the Spyderco Military, esp. the titanium. The titanium handle is extremely slippery, even compared to the cheaper G-10 (Sweaty summer hands? Leave this knife at home!). It is unnecessarily long, esp. in the pocket. The blade is extremely finicky for movement; get that Torx driver ready as one will be adjusting the "play" after every strong use (1/16th-1/8th turn goes from being difficult to deploy to being easy to deploy but having blade play; you have it set loosely for fair, but not great, deployment in this video, but you don't show back and forth play, which is excessive at that setting). The unchangeable pocket clip placement is a huge negative. Add to all that: it's expensive. I can think of little to recommend it.

That, my friend is a position consistent with most liberal thought. You tell me my personal views are irrational and perhaps intolerant (implied), even judgemental. Then in the next breath you tell me that my personal views are unwelcome on a KZbin channel that I created, I operate and spend my time, talent and treasure to perpetuate. You aren't required to be here, or to watch my videos. I find this behavior of yours irrational, self-important and intolerant in a pretty offensive way. I take no offense, however. I chalk it up to you being you, and you're welcome to continue to be here. Who knows,,, maybe one day the light will go on and all this will start making sense! I'll pray for, and look forward to that day ;)
