@@Steph_7d7 Oh yeah absolutely do :) Still glad i bought it because sound of it is just so incredibly phat (the phattest sound of any of my Synths so far) and I also wrote down a few preset sheets for it with sounds i needed to re-call again even if just intuitively tuning the dials is so much fun and just fooling around with it. The fourth Oscillator and the sequencer are definitely 2 features i cannot live without anymore. I just wish it would have had the multi effect processor of the Behringer Odyssey clone. But apart from that it's still true love.

I just received a Model D , but a mate said to send it back , his Model D went back in its box as he thought it felt like a toy...i am sending this back and paying the extra for the PolyD , should look nice with my MS5. ✌️

First time I've seen the new and improved 'Starsky' video, and I like it. Top-down videos of only-jazz-hands can get a bit claustrophobic. This one is so much better. Think you've sold me on the Poly D too....

I think it's just a quality of the synth. It not as bad as it appears on my channel where I'd been using a Minimoog all weekend, so this just felt different. I was expecting it to be the same. But it's nothing I's concern myself with tbh.

Nope. There is a software for it to alter the firmware and some internal settings but it is 100% optional. You can use the Synthesizer absolutely without any computer :)

The synth "sounds" great...but I just cannot live with the envelope "clicking"; it's awful, the worst I've heard over my 40 years of playing ..by far. It's not as bad for bass sounds, or loud squelchy patches, but it absolutely ruins mellow lead sounds. Adding some attack time reduces the click, but not without completely changing the character of the patch. It's heartbreaking, but it's going back in the AM.

Yeah, the click is definitely there... did you watch my review video? I noticed it and it was annoying me. I think it's part of the character of the synth. I could live with it but have to say it annoys me. Some folks like the click for organ sounds etc... not a huge fan of it myself though.

@@StarskyCarr yes I watched it... In fact that's where I first heard about it. Then I wondered if maybe they had done something about it. But I received my new unit last week, and it's the first thing I noticed right of the box! I agree a lot of people will live with it, but it ruins the experience for me. I use a lot of delay, and the popping triggers the echo. Very distracting. I am returning it on Monday.

@@iPaTOuT96 IMO there are far better 1st synths available, for a better price. One of my favourite monosynths out there is the Basstation II (BS-2). Unlike the Poly D (or the original Minimoog), the BS-2 has patch memory to store our sounds and it comes loaded with factory patches that really show off it's capability, so it's the best of both worlds. For playing more than one note at a time, I recommend the Behringer DM-12, or DM-6.

io mi chiedo: Mr. Uli Behringer... invece di mettere due chorus che non servono a un tubo.... non poteva mettere un riverbero e un delay? Al limite metteva un chorus solo. Due chorus non hanno senso, anche perchè se li si usa assieme viene fuori un vespaio. Certe volte le scelte di Behringer non le capisco. Ha messo gli effetti a bordo dell'Odyssey.... cosa gli costava metterli anche sul Poly D?

The quality control on these are terrible. Mine came with faulty keys out of the box. Difficult to trust Behringer after this.

I bought mine in Japan. Was a hassle and heavy to return. Second one came with faulty stereo outputs. Im never buying a Behringer product again. Needles to say I returned mine and got my money back. Opted for a more trusted brand. Cheap = Expensive.
