Everyone is crazy about 58 and and 59s, but the late 60's are my favorite. I love that bright cherry burst and reflector knobs. I will own one someday.

They didn't make bursts in the late 60's they stopped production in 1960 and didn't make them again until 1969 or 1970.....

@@johnsmith-oh2xo I'm referring to 1960 bursts in plural and "late" as in later in the the year of 1960 as the earlier still were sprayed with aniline red. I don't mean to sound defensive, but I've studied these guitars for quite awhile. I'm actually a luthier and have spent many years recreating my own versions, focusing mainly on accurate finishes.

Utterly stunning, normally when you see a 1960 this clean you think there is a reason no one has played it much. Not this one, sounds perfect, the best combination of sound and condition I think I have ever seen. Great video Jay, and absolutely fabulous playing!

I love to come here to learn about the different periods of guitar and hear Aaron's expressions through the guitars and amps. I notice in the latest videos you have leaned on the matchless and video footage of continuity. I appreciate the thoughtful video approaches in relation to lighting and movement from the video sliders. I think the video with Aaron and the flying v alongside the vox head and 2x12 cab stick out in my mind, but maybe because that's one of the first installments I came across. Great work!
