Brilliant knock. I will never forget those horror memory of 2012. In an absolutely flat Australian pitch India's line length and field placing was like that on green pitch in England. Bowlers had pace ,but bowled too outside off or at leg stump, didn't use the crease a lot.

I did doubt Clarke as Captain but this proved me wrong completely. What i want is consistency. India's bowling was horrendous in that series. Bowling a full line and too wide outside off. Remember that horror 2012 series where only Kohli got a ton. We had good batsmen but their bowlers were up to the task. The less said about our bowling the better. Nothing to take the credit away from Clarke though. 300+ is no joke. You still have to score those runs and he capitalized on the poor bowling efforts. A marathon innings to dig Australia out of the pit, into the sun and dry India's bowlers out. One for the ages.
