From the Vault: Dave picks up a Nissan Juke Manual Transmission

What economy car could you build and have a good time with for under 7 grand? Dave drove the Nissan Juke down some of his favorite roads to see what the SV 1.6L Turbo factory spec Juke can do and he was not disappointed. This little compact SUV will rip though curves and could be a fun track car for those of us on a budget. We recommend testing your car or offroad SUV in its factory form before making any modifications, so you have a great base to work from.

Only way to buy a juke is with a manual. I bought a salvage one with small dent in quarter panel for $1600. One of the best cars to drive.

Fun little car, didn’t they have a Nismo version? I almost bought a fiesta ST man those little cars haul a$$and handle like a go cart. Straight up fun.

I bought a Juke when they came out. Went with the CVT automatic. It was a blast to drive but I got rid of it within a year because of fear of the CVT failing. I would have kept it longer if I had purchased the manual transmission.

I've been in the CVT version the CVT does not feel good but it is a little zippy car to throw through corners though I think the manual would be a lot More fun

As long as you weren't at a loss trading out, you probably spared yourself a headache. Mine went out at around 78k

We sold it to a viewer and sadly two weeks later the car was involved in a hit and run
